It was a nicely kept small apartment with everything we needed. Nothing fancy but a nice stay.

Generally the Hotel was acceptable. It is a central location for Wadebridge. Food is available although breakfast is not included. Hotel was clean but the floor creaky.
The Darlington is located in Camelford. Free WiFi is available and free parking is available, some on site and some a one-minute walk away.

The property was difficult to access at first the door was dodgy. We accessed and did not have a room number but the telephone call came back quite quickly. The room was a little over crowded with furniture , the two arm chairs were not necessary. The room was clean and tidy but a little dated. The en-suite bathroom was fine and the shower was great. It was central to town but there is little in the town. We purchased a chinese and returned to the room where bowls and cutlery were provided which were ideal. For the money paid we thought it was fine.
Nestled amid the beautiful Cornish countryside, between Bodmin and Wadebridge, this charming hotel is beautifully set within a Grade II listed building, dating back to the early 18th century.

St Tudy is a very small peaceful village in Cornwall, it has a lovely Inn for meals and a little co-op for grocery needs and many historical buildings. There are nice walks in the countryside around the village as well, a lovely place to unwind.

Which makes the price expensive given an alternative place to eat but wasn't informed to book before arrival we couldn't get a reservation so had to Google somewhere just lucky to find a pub that had room!. Most places to eat were a cornish 10 minutes away ( 25_20). You really need a car. Although the lanes are not for the faint hearted. We found a pub called the red lion in St Kew, lovely place to eat service good, food good. Next time would make sure where we are staying is fully operational before booking.

Lappa Valley was the highlight of our holiday.
Lappa Valley was the highlight of our holiday.
Newquay Zoo was great & Bude beach was a gem Eden project was also great but a bit expensive. St Tudy & surrounding areas are beautiful & approx 45-60 mins drive to a few different beaches. About 20mins in real terms to nearest large supermarket (Tesco).
We stayed at Hangar Manor & adult food was ok at best but childrens meals were not great apart from the pizza. So I had to cook most evenings as my daughter didn't like anything there, again the cutlery was dirty, one particular bar lady was rude & although most of the bar staff were helpful & polite they didn't keep an eye on the cue & I regularly had other people served before me which was very frustrating.

Beautiful peaceful village in the heart of stunning Cornwall. Just far enough away from main roads to feel un-spoilt, but close enough to the likes of Port Isaac, Bodmin, Wadebridge and The Eden Project etc to be a good base to explore.

St Tudy is a quiet little village in the middle of the countryside and the Blacksmiths cottage is right in the centre of the village. There is a very nice pub restaurant right next door and the local shop is only a couple of hundred yards away. Everyone was very friendly and all said hello as we passed them in the street.
