We had booked a no pet chalet, unfortunately pets had been in the property and one member had eye issues, we contacted the staff and within 30 minutes we was given another chalet which was pet free, the staff indicated the original chalet should have been pet free but sometimes they are not aware customers had brought pets along, the chalets are very clean with all facilities, the staff, Great, apart from the eye issue, which took a day to clear up, would highly recommend St Helens resort

St.Helens is a village location with a good pub, The Vine, a local store and post office. It also has a beautiful harbour and causeway walk. It is very idyllic with larger towns only a short distance away. After a busy day it is great to get back to St. Helens for peace and relaxation. The Vine serves good food and drink at reasonable prices but, you need a big appetite as the portions are large. There is a smaller plate option.
