The breakfast was very good, although I was rather hoping for cereal also. But thank you it was a lovely place to stay we liked it so much that we tried to book another night, but unfortunately you were fully booked.

We had a room facing the back of the property so no noise.We were shown to a room up two flights so was told we wear on ground floor for 70 year olds was a bit off a struggle but the staff and breakfast was excellent would have been nice to stay in and eat and drink in the property but they closed at 8 o’clock.

Very warm welcome and a lovely team. The food was very good and reasonably priced too. The location is excellent. I was lucky and it was a pleasant evening so I could sit out by the river. The room was comfortable and the shower excellent, you know - the water pressure you can only get in a hotel :-)

The photos almost don't do it justice! It’s beyond beautiful and a place to really relax in. The staff had been there for years and loved it. It felt really personal, warm and welcoming. The spa was amazing also.

The restaurant offers a fantastic special menu for guests with food allergies. Absolutely brilliant! The food in general was very good, as was the drinks selection. The hotel itself was in a separate building and hence tucked away in a quiet corner of the area. The room was clean and cozy. The gardens next door were superb. The staff was very friendly.
