Location is outstanding- set well back from main roads in the middle of nowhere (altho town isn’t too much of a walk) and overlooking the Tay. Booked General Wades house so room was very spacious with nice living area and two bathrooms.

Excellent service in accommodating my dog companion
The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building.

Close to the Loch of the Lowes where I am a guide and I was on duty both the afternoon and following morning. Also it was a good price and I was even upgraded to another room because it was a quiet night.
Situated in Dunkeld, Tay House is a self catering establishment with views of the River Tay. Tay House has a terrace at the back of the building with river views.
Historic Birnam Hotel is set in Perthshire countryside between Dunkeld and Birnham Golf Club and the River Tay. It offers cosy non-smoking rooms, a restaurant and an inn in the grounds.

Breakfast in the morning was superb, I told the Chef he could make breakfast for me anyday. Loads of Car parking. Staff were very cheerful.

We were greeted extremely well. We were brought a wonderful coffee and Tea with a great piece of fruit cake. Views were fab, room comfortable with a good shower.

The views from the cottage was absolutely beautiful from the moment you wake.I will say be careful if heading out on the roads around Scotland especially in the rain as a few roads do flood quiet quickly.
