We have stayed there before and always found the staff friendly and helpful. Booking late we had a smaller room this time but still comfortable and adequate for a few nights. Very comfortable bed, which is important for me.
Oriel Country Hotel & Spa is a short stroll from the small city St Asaph and its beautiful cathedral. Enjoy award-winning food, the pool, and first-class beauty and spiritual treatments.

Like the Marie Celeste. No food in the evenings. No-one around.
This family hotel/public house features a well-stocked bar, a sunny beer garden with ample seating and an off-road private car park at the front and to the rear of the building.
Located in Rhyl, just a 3-minute walk from the beach, Melbourne Guest House offers free, limited private parking on site. The centre of Prestatyn is only an 8-minute drive away.

Jenny was excellent from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and made us feel So welcome, we are booking again next year.
a great, quiet location for visiting north Wales. Short distance to a pub/cafe or the main road, also able to walk to a supermarket and a couple of restaurant/takeaways.
Has a historic castle, on a river.

A small town, the sort you could walk round in an hour.
A small town, the sort you could walk round in an hour. Some shops, a Spar, take aways and pubs, it has enough to occupy you for a short break. We had a take away from the Fei Von Chinese restaurant and it was lovely! The castle ruins we not open (opens March) so we couldn't walk round, but there are other walks in the area.

Lovely little place within walking distance of the castle and town. The castle is a must see and very interesting to read all the information around the site. Maps all around the town explain all the history and places of interest. Rhyl is a very short drive away even manageable on a push bike. The scenery is breathtaking.

For such a small village there are so many things to do and see. Obviously there is the castle but the ancient Twthill is right next door to it. Then there's the shops and restaurants, the Village Masala in particular is excellent and gets very busy. Not forgetting the river for a walk along the banks or maybe even a spot of fishing.

Rhuddlan is a lovely village with just enough amenities to make for a comfortable stay without the hustle and bustle of the busier sea-side resorts. The castle gives it a special something, and definately one for those interested in a bit of history and as an exciting trip for children at a very reasonable cost of entry. Bus services to and from Rhyl are frequent enough if you use public transport to get around, and with a car there's lots to explore in the surrounding area, both Dyserth Waterfall, Prestatyn, St Asaph and more.
gorgeous little cottage overlooking Rhuddlan Castle ,we came for a four day mini moon and there was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us which was very thoughtful , thank you !
The bed is VERY comfy .. I didn’t want to get up in the morning ! nice little outside seating area and the utility room with washing machine and dishwasher is a handy feature if you are staying longer .
you just can’t tire of the beautiful view every morning .
A lovely restful stay
Always visit this place while in Rhuddlan friendly staff, great atmosphere, good food always very tasty and excellent quality. Stayed overnight in one of their lovely comfy rooms had a great night's sleep, returning at the weekend with friends and have booked one of the many pods outside ( inc heating and lighting ) to enjoy drinks and food al fresco regardless of the great British weather, definitely a great place to be would definitely recommend !!
