The Queens Hotel, hotel in Rawdon

The Queens hotel is the heart of Leeds city centre, and offers a Pan-Asian fusion dining restaurant and luxurious 4-star rooms with free WiFi.

It was amazing! The check in staff were so lovely and gave a map too and guided through the hotel, there was security from the afternoon too so it felt super safe. The room was gorgeous and so was the view and the bed was comfy! We were greeted with complementary treats too! But the best part was as soon as you walked in the aesthetic of the hotel room.

Once a bus and tram company office, this hotel retains its unique architecture, including a vaulted ceiling and quirky rooms, which come in different shapes and sizes.

Beautiful building in a great location. Great idea to have drinks vouchers in return for not having room cleaned as an eco friendly initiative.

A.little collectin of local.shops with a couple of restaurants and a pub. Excellent location for getting to Leeds and other nearby sights. Sweet Basil (walking distance) particularly good with very good COVID measures.

Very easy reach of lots of places of interest . Some nice places to eat . The stone Trough is excellent . Our BnB Peasehill house was excellent . We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it . Recommend Harrogate , Harewood House and Ingleton Waterfalls. So many other places we’d love to have visited nearby ( spoilt for choice ) , but ran out of time & will return again.

Rawdon is close to Guisley, Otley & Ilkley for days out.

Rawdon is close to Guisley, Otley & Ilkley for days out. It is also very convenient for Leeds & Bradford Airport. It is approx. 30 mins from Leeds city centre. The area where Peasehill is situated has a small parade of shops & a Turkish & Mediterranean restaurant right next door. The hotel has a wonderful banqueting room for those special occasions too.

    Rawdon is lovely place.

Rawdon is lovely place. Quiet area but within easy access of major towns and cities such as Leeds or Bradford. Great for accessing the nearby airport and a good start point for days out into the gorgeous Yorkshire countryside. Excellent places to eat near by. Would certainly recommend the Stone Trough on Harrogate Rs or Hayward Farm up by airport as good places to eat.

I can't say much as I didn't see much of Rawdon.

I can't say much as I didn't see much of Rawdon. I was only there for one night as I had to attend a funeral the following day. The area does have quite a lot of varied activities, including walks along the canal and river at Rodley, golf at Horsforth, and various attractions in Leeds which is only a short distance away.

Having a dog with us meant green space for walking on was a preference. There was plenty of green space close to our Guest House so it was made very easy. I took in a fantastic Tai massage at Nuch's and for such a small town we had a pub and cafe so close to hand where everyone was very friendly. The views across the valley were wonderful, especially in the stunning sunsets we had during our stay. There was a lot more to discover in the area but we would t hesitate to go back.
