We found the Granary well equipped, clean, spacious and homely. The beds were large and comfy. Ideally situated for touring the Moray coastline and following the whisky trail!

Excellent stay with friends - can’t wait to come back!
10am check out time would be my only complaint although this is fairly normal with camp sites like these

My third visit to this area,I always use The Red Lion..can,t fault it.
A lovely quiet village. That is located well for sightseeing in the area. There isn't any where to shop or eat in the village, but there's plenty of places nearby where you can go to get food. It's very pesceful, which lends itself to a good nights sleep.

Portgordon has the (delightful) air of being quite out of the way, but even by public transport it would have been quite accessible, as would other fascinating places around. It is very quiet. It is a shame for the village that the only shop recently closed. There is one pub - the Lennox. Reviewed elsewhere it gives the impression of an unprepossessing exterior hiding a warm heart; and I would agree with that.
