Galgorm, hotel in Portglenone

The 4-star Galgorm features a luxury spa and award-winning restaurant. It is set within 163 acres of lush parkland with the River Maine flowing through.

New beds needed in delux suits. Single beds were so old they had a dip in middle. Didn’t sleep one wink , exhausted. Material also too hot of mattress . Music kept going off during massage, therapist paid too much attention trying to turn it on taking time away from my deep tissue massage.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for the incredible stay at your beautiful cottage. The serene surroundings and cozy atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Every moment spent there was filled with tranquility and relaxation, making it a truly rejuvenating experience. Your attention to detail in furnishing the cottage and ensuring every amenity was available did not go unnoticed. From the well-appointed kitchen to the comfortable bedding, it was evident that you put a lot of care into creating a welcoming environment for your guests. Thank you once again for your hospitality and for sharing your piece of paradise with us. It was a pleasure to stay at your cottage, and I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future. Janice was an amazingly helpful and accommodating host, helping us organise all aspects of our itinerary. We enjoyed beautiful breakfasts in lovely countryside surroundings, after having restful nights in a wonderfully spacious and comfortable room. Was the perfect place to stay for a wedding in the nearby Tullyglass hotel. All topped off by a welcoming fire in the common room and a charming little doggie friend to greet us.

We stayed in Portglenone for a family birthday weekend and it was close to their house. It is a very pretty small town with a lovely river frontage with nice walks and boats. There are a few shops and a newly-opened cafe above the chip shop which sells a wide variety of meals at breakfast lunch and dinner times. We had a really good breakfast there. We had a hire car for the weekend.
