Whole feeling of the place was great - staff were lovely and friendly, location was within walking distance of town and the beds were comfortable, rooms were also spacious (we stayed 5 nights). Sunday carvery was amazing for a family meal and breakfast was good too. I think we got discount food as we were staying there, and meals were really good value as a result. We had our three grown up boys with us too - and it was really comfortable to go and catch up int e bar area, play pool or darts etc.... Right next door is a Jenkins bakery (amazing vanilla slices) and also a barber shop - handy for a quick haircut. Would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous location lovely room and staff. Nothing was to much trouble so Thank you The Carlton Hotel for a great break
The beach itself is stunning and clean. There is a lovely pub called the Ship nearby that serves excellent food and we were made welcome including our dogs. There are also fish and chip shops and a seaside shop on the beachfront

A very small, quiet area.
A very small, quiet area. Probably not good for those seeking lots of laid on entertainment. The Gower is not famed for it's thrills and spills. There are lots very beautiful areas withinin easy reach. The Gower is an unspoilt paradise. I was able to walk alone in the dunes and on the beach, the few people I encountered were friendly and I felt completely safe at all times.

We loved the place it was very tranquil plenty of walked and things to do.
The ship pub was great for food but don’t rely on shop to be open so take your food with you.
We strongly recommend to stay here staff were great and very helpful what more can you ask for .
The position of the hotel is great, on the edge of the village, with views of the sea and sand dunes. It's just a few minutes walk to the pub, chip shop and small shop. Our appartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely furnished. The contactless check-in worked well and it felt Covid-safe. The owner was welcoming and helpful when we had a problem with the wifi. It's a brilliant place to stay!
Place right on the beach, easy parking in front of the hotel, attractions nearby, beautiful views from the balcony, apartment well equipped, friendly and helpful owners. We have had a wonderful experience
