I've stayed here before and love the very central location in Pontypridd, the glamorous and unusually designed rooms and the attention to detail. I usually stay in the White Rooms on top floor. They are well equipped with good tea & coffee tray, an iron and ironing board, TV that works well, exceptionally comfortable bed and bedding and a nice big bathroom. Plenty of space too. These top floor options are normally quiet rooms, as they are away from the noise of bar and function rooms and the streets of Pontypridd. The bar and restaurant is great and the staff are lovely.

Very comfortable room, not too small. Really good water pressure in the shower. Nice bathroom. All very clean.
Friendly and helpful receptionists.
We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. The coffee was pretty food for a machine (2 Italians in our group).

I liked everything about my stay in Pontypridd, both the town itself and the hotel. The hotel has a sister property, which is a bar and restaurant and this was excellent for food. The town has a wonderful park in its' centre, with a beautiful Lido.

Pontypridd surprised us, in a good way!
Pontypridd surprised us, in a good way! It had very vibrant indoor and outdoors markets which offered a huge variety of items. The meat stalls looked wonderful. The shopping centre was equally diverse with some 'chain' stores but many independent stores too. There were some lovely shops selling unusual baby clothes and a fantastic flower shop, Elyn Boutique Faux Wedding Flowers, which specialised in wedding arrangements and flowers which had the most amazing display outside. As we were staying there so we could attend a wedding celebration nearby we really did not see the shops in detail but were amazed at the diversity of shops.
The park was a beautiful place to spend some relaxing time and it was lovely to be able to look at the river and the birds on it from a number of bridges.
The one way system and roads that were only accessible at certain times was challenging, but we managed to get around at the times we needed to. Parking rules were unclear to us so we parked in a carpark that the hotel gave us a permit for.
The town was very clean apart from some areas in the evening, but the areas were cleaned up each morning. The town is vibrant and therefore noisy at night so a central hotel will come with the noise of music and loud shouting, laughter etc which might disturb some people.
We had a meal in Alfred's Bar and Grill and were very pleased with the excellent quality of service, ambience and food. It was nothing like we expected to find in the area. I would highly recommend eating there.
We would happily return to Pontypridd and spend more time there.

Views around the hotel probably is the only thing that I would recommend
Our room number 7 with unacceptable terrible damp smelling mouldy a broken rotten window frames carpet badly soiled dirty ruffled health and safety would have something to say and probably would advise not using this room, bedlinen looked like it hadn’t been changed , dirty very dusty we wrote our names on the shelves very low standard both the bedroom and the bathroom, I could go on much more but I would say £220.50 for that room and without breakfast is shameful, I arrived in my camper van and seriously thought I’d been happy to stay in it .

My daughter lives in Ponty, l live in the Midlands so it's nice to treat ourselves when l come for a visit. We had a lovely evening in the Blue bell hotel and breakfast in Wetherspoons. Really enjoyed our time in Ponty, thanks Wales.
A lovely spacious cottage. Clean, all essentials available, comfy beds, good size bedrooms.
The place was ideally located for us as a family. It was easy to park outside the property or as near as and free. Contact with the owners was easy and they are very helpful. The area is beautiful and lots to explore nearby. It was cheaper than a hotel for the time we stayed! This place was perfect in every way possible.
We were in wales to visit family and the location was perfect.
The farmhouse was absolutely beautiful!! Looks like it was professionally decorated. It was well stocked and extremely comfortable. We loved the daily visit of the sheep. Perfect for a family gathering and
plenty of toys and games to entertain the little ones. The welcome cakes and bubbly were appreciated and enjoyed!!
Room was not clean. It smelt horrendous but by the time we got to our room with two young children it was too late to start moving rooms.
There was mold in the bathroom which is quite unacceptable. The carpets in the bedroom area smelt awful. It just felt so unclean and needed refreshing. Very disappointing and made us feel quite uncomfortable sleeping there.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and great price. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of parking. We booked for Sunday lunch on arrival and the food was lovely. Very well priced aswell for a 2 course meal. The breakfast the next morning was also great.
The property was in a really nice location for travelling in the area,The property has had considerable refurbishment undertaken and generally to a good standard. Relaxed facilities and friendly staff
The Blueberry Hotel is a wonderful combination of vintage charm and modern spa or boutique accommodation. The bed was super comfortable and the staff welcoming.
