I didn't realize the rooms I booked wouldn't fit my toddler in with my husband and I until just before check in. The staff were gracious and allowed me to upgrade to The Georgian across the street for 30 pounds. WELL worth it to have her in my room (and not with Grandma), and the room was beautiful!
Just a mile from Llanelli’s center, the luxury The Diplomat Hotel Restaurant & Spa has free parking, free Wi-Fi and a modern leisure center. Ffos Las Racecourse is a 10-minute drive away.

Beautiful location for a quiet day/night, situated on a big hill going towards the mountain, and with a large garden that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike (there is a patio and football goal for example). The Hostess was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, with cereal, toast and full English, fresh tea/coffee and orange juice, served at the table downstairs in their own private living/dining area. Lovely rustic feel to the place. Bedroom was spacious with TV, kettle, comfortable double bed and magnificent view. I could see all the way to the coast with the good weather we were having. Small ensuite but the shower was good. Pontlliw village is a short taxi ride away (back down the hill) and Uber is available. There are Indian and Carribbean restaurants there among others. Next town is Pontarddulais. Gowerton, Swansea and Llanelli aren't far away for rail/bus links onwards. There is a regular bus service to Swansea from Pontlliw. All in all, a great value stay and very enjoyable.

We were staying for family reasons but it would be nice to stay there and holiday. Really lovely views and close enough to get to visit several places. We followed our sat nav which took us a very scenic route down a single track road but this is not the best way to get there so ring and get the very helpful and sensible advice from the owner!
