Pershore is a lovely market town in the Vale of Evesham.

Pershore is a lovely market town in the Vale of Evesham. The River Avon runs along the edge of the town and some lovely walks can be had to villages around. The Abbey is beautiful within its grounds. Enough shops and cafes for a day out or a weekend stay.

We enjoyed walking around Pershore it has some lovely shops and an Abbey worth visiting. It also is right on the river so had we had time and better weather we would have had a walk along the tow path.

A beautiful small country town with a thriving & interesting High Street and plenty of food & drink outlets to suit all tastes & budgets. It is all well maintained with many attractive buildings, all decorated with a profusion of colourful hanging baskets.

    Pershore is an absolute joy.

Pershore is an absolute joy. We were fortunate enough to finally meet up with friends of my wife, Trudy, Andy and Pickles & Teddy the dogs, who were the very bests of hosts you could ever wish for - They showed us the real treasures of the area especially the glorious abbey in Pershore itself. There is so much to see and do in a fabulous part of the country and if you are looking for somewhere special to eat or drink then The star Inn offers the very best of quality from Bruce the owner. A real treasure in a busy world.

I didn’t have much time to see Pershore itself, but there was a written walk of places of interest in my accommodation, with photos, which I read, and I was only sorry that I didn’t have more time in Pershore itself.

Very friendly shop owners due to the busy high street with good individual shops, plenty of coffee shops and good pub called The angel . This pub offers events which I attended and good food. This high street is busy on a Saturday and closed on Sundays like times gone by.

The hotel dates back to Tudor times and there is a wall painting from that period in the foyer. Our room was fresh and with old mod cons, at the back of the building, overlooking a series of small gardens. It was very quiet with good blackout curtain. The room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the wooden beams. Staff were attentive, friendly and as we are Covid wary, served us with breakfast in our room. The hotel has a temperature check at check in and staff actually wear masks as opposed to draping them under their chins. Lovely.

The cottage was very well equipped with good shower on ground floor. The sofa was comfy with good sized TV. The cottage gives you plenty of independence but requires taxi ten minutes get into town of Pershore. During the day I walked with walking boots it took 45 mins into town 3.5 miles. If you don’t have a car its too far to walk in middle of rural area. No street lights pitch black. This gives peace and very quiet. Has good views from cottage all around.

The price was very good for the location which was on the very edge of the main area of Pershaw town. The breakfast offered was a full English (well cooked) with tea or coffee and cereal and fruit juice before if wanted. The room was adequate but good for the price. The shower was powerful and the water very hot. The room was not noisy which we were pleased to find out. We ate in the restaurant and we though it very good; my husband thought his meal excellent.

A lovely selection for breakfast, including homemade fruit compote and jams. Pershore is a lovely place to stay with very nice restaurants that were recommended to us by hosts and definitely worth visiting. We were made to feel welcome the moment we stepped through the door. We will definitely return when in that area again.

Mark and Julie are amazing! They were super friendly and welcomed us for our stay, and remembered our names the next day! Breakfast was great, and the room nice and clean with comfortable furnishings. Great shower! I regret we were only there for one night, and wish we had more time. Will absolutely come back if we're in the area again

We had a fantastic stay in Pershore. The host was so quick to respond to messages and was very friendly and approachable throughout our stay. As a group of 12, we had plenty of space and particularly enjoyed the outdoor space! The hot tub, ping pong table and BBQ made for an amazing bank holiday weekend!
