Breakfast is fantastic and Acton Bridge pubs Hazel Pear Inn and Leigh Arms are great recommendations from Richard. As I am asthmatic and allergic to house dust mites I was impressed by cleanliness of bed and obvious care taken to remove accumulated dust from carpets compared to other places that I have stayed inn recently. When I cut myself on fingertip on morning of departure staff were really helpful with elastoplast and helping me find my lost house keys. Recommendations of local places to eat and local walk were all first class.

Stayed 2 nights and never seen any other guests seemed to be the only person there both nights , never seen anyone at breakfast. The breakfast was very nice There were plenty of it A few rugby people dropped the first night for drinks, Quite dated could do with a lick of paint in places ,no lift ,stairs a little steep, but quite a comfortable room ,although I had to be changed to another room ,But despite everything it wasn't all bad coffee tea biscuits in room shower was over the bath . The owner was very friendly and accommodating don't know if I would stay again due to location as I don't drive
A haven of peace and tranquility, this traditional English country house is in a unique rural setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a 60 acre lake, yet only 12 miles from historic Chester.

It seems nice at first but had to vacate due to the most awful smell. Management refused to do anything about it so did Booking.com I wouldn’t advise anybody to stay here. Also absolutely no atmosphere very very very overpriced in the restaurant and for drinks.

Stayed overnight at Wall Hill Farm - delightful place and as comfortable as we could ask for.
Visited the Anderton Boat lift the following day (11mins drive). Superb experience! British innovation at its best. The centre was perfectly run, the coffee was a dream and the 1hr+ boat trip was wonderful, made all the better by the knowledgeable and entertaining commentary. Thank you to all of you for sharing your passion

Lovely place to stay.
Lovely place to stay. The breakfast was delicious and really wanted the recipe for the beetroot hummus. Very friendly staff and easy to get a taxi (recommended by hotel) to the venue we were visiting.
Thankyou

Didn't go into Northwich but surrounding area lovely.
Didn't go into Northwich but surrounding area lovely. Easy to get to. Very handy for motorway. Good access. Good facilities. People we met really friendly and helpful. Had lovely lunch at Arabica.
You'd think it was a family business for how its run. Staff really welcoming friendly and massively helpful. As in really helpful, everyone one of them.
Food was great, the room spacious, comfortable with a luxurious bed and large bathroom.
I had made a cock-up on my booking (wrong date) but they sorted it out when really they didn't really have to - will always be grateful for that.
In essence I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the place, the people, the room, everything - and they also have free parking!
Nice, cosy property easy access to all of Cheshire attractions. The heading in our room wasn’t working upon arrival, but the owner quickly sorted this issue. I put the heating on and we went for a walk. Upon return the room was roasting. A few tweeks, and we had a very comfortable night.
Sadly, I’m not a big breakfast type of person, which is a shame because the breakfast reviews here are excellent.
I’d certainly come back. Thank you!
Beautiful hotel with lovely fixtures, fittings & soft furnishings in a great location. All members of staff were extremely helpful & friendly. Beautifully presented room with great facilities & lovely extra touches such as bath robes, good crockery & filbert's nuts! Plenty of parking & great bar/restaurant. Would definitely stay again. Recommended!
WORST HOTEL I've seen at in 30 yrs. I left immediately after check-in.Place stinks of damp and mould. Dingy corridors ad dismal 1970s decor in crumbling building.Building deserted .No staff ,except guy who comes when you ring a mobile number. No food, no bar.I was the only car in the car park and I'm not surprised.AVOID this place like the plague.
My grandson and I travel to this area each year to attend a Christmas event and we have stayed at various hotels and guest houses over the past 4 years
However, this is by far the most enjoyable, cleanest, beautiful location, wonderful breakfast and in the words of my grandson it gets 10 pikachu's out of 10
System This should be shut down totally.
The images of the hotels inside are totally nothing what it is like at all it was the worst hotel I've ever seen
No food or drinks available at all no breakfast then no hot water no proper lighting and I would like to know if anyone is checking these hotels at all !!
The hotel was beautifully clean and the rooms were tastefully furnished.
It felt very high-end.
It is twice/three times as nice as the well-known nearest chain rival and all the better for being away from the busy dual carriageway. It is really well-located yet still lovely and quiet.
Everything was excellent the management and staff were outstanding and very helpful and always had subjections on things to do and help with our transportations to our next destination. I would stay Hartford Hall anytime and highly recommend it to anyone.
It was well placed for Northwich. It was private as it was away from the main house. The bed was comfortable. The owners were pleasant. The breakfast was Spartan but tasty and filling, especially the home laid eggs.
A really lovely guest house tucked away on the outskirts of Northwich. The room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Richard the host cooks a banging breakfast.
We will definitely use Wall Hill Farm again.
The hotel is beautiful. Decorated very tastefully. The room was comfortable, with a fantastic shower! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the cocktails were fab!
The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet enabling us to get a good night's sleep. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. We would certainly visit again when next in the area.
The entire stay was a delight. We have tried numerous hotels in the vicinity, but Wall Hill Farm ticked all the boxes for us. A very pleasant and relaxing stay indeed.
