The room was cute and clean, the view from the window was absolutely lovely - across the water to Inverness. The distance from the town might be a problem without a car, but we enjoyed the quiet. The hosts are absolutely LOVELY and very accommodating. The guest common rooms (lounge room and small conservatory) are very nice too. The breakfast was good, and they even did coeliac-friendly gluten free food for me!

Our room was located in one of the outer buildings. Car park was located behind the building and it was easy to get into our room. Location was right along the river so it was great to just sit and watch. We also did the distillery tour next door and that was fun. We wanted an afternoon drink and the bar wasn't open so we had to walk to the hotel next door - highly reccomend that as well. Hotel restaurant was very tasty and easy.

Overall staff where so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. They also went an extra mile when they knew it was our wedding day upgrading us to a superior room and leaving a bottle of prosecco in our room to celebrate. We also had dinner in the hotel which again was lovely

Fantastic base to see the north Highlands and minutes from Inverness. Would definitely recommend it. Beautiful views. A pub and restaurant a bit expensive but very welcoming. A coffee shop, convenience store and little arts and crafts store there.

Lovely view of Beauly Firth. Very quiet.
Lovely view of Beauly Firth. Very quiet. Ideal for our holiday as a base to set off daily touring the highlands. There is only one place to eat and drink which is a hotel up the road which serves good food besides the white cottages cafe so you needed to go Inverness for variety.

Small coastal village with great views across the Moray firth at the start of a beautiful walk along the coast towards Fortrose. Several herons and an otter, several types of gulls and ducks spotted while walking. The bottlenose dolphins in the area did not make an appearance however!
