Very clean, tidy and well thought out. Lots of small touches like plenty of mirrors, thick blankets, comfy beds, milk in the fridge, a good variety of tea bags, well stocked kitchen, and even a little Christmas tree... especially liked the walk in closet with a light
....we will be back...

A superb apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy lounge, excellent shower and supremely comfortable bed. Situated in a pleasant area, close to most amenities with easy access to the surrounding beautiful wetland walks. Amazing hosts, thank you Delia and Malcolm for the welcome pack of essential food items, the kind offer of a lift to the bus/train station and the delicious freshly baked cake!

Wonderful welcome. A very old house located quite close to the A38, with internal updates in sympathy with the original character. Beautiful room - very comfortable bed. Julie was a great host - nothing too much trouble. Breakfast at a time to suit us and plentiful. Would definitely visit again and hopefully meet the dogs next time! Close enough to walk into the local village for a meal across the fields, but rural enough to give the dog some local exercise near the river.

Newton Abbot is a nice little town, with a decent array of shops. If you have little ones, you must go to iTown as it's a great place for toddlers and Primary School kids. The walk along the river and the Hackney Marshes are fantastic and the racecourse looks to be well maintained.

A lovely small town which is ideally located to explore both Dartmoor and the many attractions of South Devon. There are a good range of places to eat. For me, the highlight was the superb food and service at The Eastern Eye.

We didnt actually visit Newton Abbot itself, but the area is great for exploring Dartmoor, the East Devon coast and visiting Exeter. Wonderful food at The Cridford Inn in Trusham, Home Farm Cafe on the Parke Estate, The Ridge Cafe, Haldon Forest Park, The Cafe on The Green at Widecombe in the Moor and The Thatched Tavern at Maidencombe. All of these eateries can include great walks and are dog friendly.

Newton Abbott is a railway town, so a great place for getting to other places. It is worth exploring in it's own right, the bell tower and town museum are worth a visit. There are plentiful shops and cafes. Hackney Marshes, next to the racecourse are are pleasant walk.
I booked two rooms - a double (single occupancy) for my Dad and a twin for my sister and I. We were allocated Kingsbridge and Hay Tor which were next to each which was really convenient.. Dad has some mobility issues but he managed the stairs, and was also glad of the path direct to the car park - good to get to the first floor if you have a wheelchair.. Hay Tor does have an outdoor seating area which would have been lovely in the summer, the hotel has a splendid outdoor seating area which we didn't utilise on this occasion
Gorgeous spacious room overlooking fields and countryside, horses and resident wild buzzard. Extremely high quality bathroom that is on a level with top quality hotels around the world, huge walk in shower. Delicious Full breakfast included, table laid beautifully and every detail thought of, dining room overlooking horses and buzzard again. Lovely welcoming host. I wished I could have stayed longer and I will definitely go back when passing that way again! Easy to find off the A38 and plenty of parking. Thank you
I travel a lot for work and stay in lots of different hotels - they all look the same - this was perfect, pub atmosphere, lovely room - very quaint, clean - unfortunately I didn't get to try the food this time but will definitely stay here on my next visit and try both dinner and breakfast, Left my watch behind and received a call this morning to say they would keep it safe for my next visit!
We liked the feel of this sizeable historic building, looking out over Newton Abbott and the River Teign towards Teignmouth. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom has been updated to a very modern standard. The hostess, Charlotte, was keen to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast - including homemade jams and marmalade! Yum!
The hosts Mike and Annie were great , loved Pushka the family dog , she greeted us everytime we came in and even popped in for a chat !!
The flat is lovely , the beds are super comfy and the coffee, tea ,cereals and bread for toast are lovely .
Will definitely come back next time we visit Newton Abbot as it is a 2 minute walk to the town centre.
You couldn't find better hosts than at the Keyberry Hotel. Excellent dinner and cooked breakfast. We appreciated having marmalade The manager went out of his way to help us access the hotel as there were roadworks that evening. Very comfortable bed. Warm and quiet room. Private off-road parking.
The hotel was in a good location. Walking distance to the town. Parking was good. The owners were really polite and helpful. The room was clean and tidy the bathroom was really big. The breakfast was really good. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows really soft.
The host jayne was lovely we had everything and more that we needed, it was very easy to find and central for everywhere around, there is a lovely pub called the sloop 6 minute walk away serving lovely food and the service was warm and friendly, what a lovely place to stay
Really nicely furnished apartment in a great location close to all the attractions around Torquay, Newton Abbott and Paignton. View was nice although weather didn't help! Bathroom and shower were spotlessly clean as was rest of the apartment.
Newton Abbot itself is not a tourist spot in itself and VERY hilly - what looks like a short walk as the crow flies on the map in a hill walking expedition. But it is well located for travellingfrom.
An ideal location to visit lots of tourist places.
Near to local super market and restaurant/ pub but in a quiet location.
The house was warm and cosy and had everything we needed.
Such a great stay. Helen was lovely, placewas so quiet and peaceful. Fresh bread, eggs, milk and juice all provided and lots of fire wood. Pub down the road is so nice
House has a spacious lounge area and bathrooms, underfloor heating is cosy once warmed up. Newton Abbot was pleasant, nice market town with nice pubs for drink / food
As a whole it was all excellent. Daisy went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself was really lovely and the food was excellent.
