Close to the lift as requested (thank you!)...very spacious, bright room, huge bed. Looking out the front of hotel, cool view. Big, spacious bathroom, which was great!!! (my last stay here, the bathroom was tiny, squeeze into it, sit on toilet and you could reach into shower, whilst the basin was pretty much on top of you!)
Breakfast was fine, maybe add a bit more choice to it?
Location, second to none, literally step across to train station...whilst a plentiful supply of buses too.

Lovely staff on the day I checked in especially been a lone traveller with disabilities I found them extremely helpful friendly chatty especially the young chap on the late shift. He should be recognised for his lovely mannerism and care of his customers providing loads of advice and recommendations from history of the building which I love places to get food or to visit
