Colin was a great host, very welcoming and took an interest in the reason for our trip. We got the feeling that we could ask Colin anything and he would do what he could to help or offer advice to make our trip/stay better. Colin was very considerate in the room we were allocated too as my husband was competing in an ultra marathon so we were given a ground floor room. The location was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was great. Parking right outside the accommodation. We would recommend the property to others or book it again ourselves for future trips.

A complementary glass of Prosecco to start your stay was a nice touch. Modern room with very comfy round bed. The hot tub was already to use at 37 degrees, and was very relaxing. The spa bath was luxurious too. A large TV with netflix, a great touch. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing room. The breakfast delivered to your room was also excellent with lots of choice. You won’t be disappointed if you want a relaxing stay.
Overlooking Lake Windermere, Lindeth Fell offers impressive views and free parking, just 5 minutes from Windermere Ferry Crossing.

Lindeth Fell is a magnificent property on the hills overlooking lake Windermere. The old country style exudes cosiness from the moment of arrival and the discovery of the rooms, the lounge and the library with their enjoyable little details makes the experience even better.
What makes Lindeth Fell truly memorable however is the thoroughy professional and friendly staff. Anything you want is but a question away and quite often the staff anticipate the question before you think of it. We particularly enjoyed the company of Ben, all-round good chap, always ready with advice or a quick "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" to add to the experience.
In addition to having breakfast, we also stayed for dinner, which was of a quality truly exceeding expectation: perfectly proportioned, perfectly cooked with a nice selection of affordable wines to go with them.
All in all, a most excellent experience!

We thought the hotel had good facilities and very good value for money to include the spar and pool, we did not arrive soon enough to enjoy the extra facilities, as we were only a one night stay, but would have been nice.

Checking in was easy, lovely welcoming pack of essentials , tea coffee, milk, even a small bottle of red and white wine! Towels rubbish bags, washing up liquid, scourer and dishcloth and loo roll, all at the caravan. Iron, and hair dryer all provided.
Lovely quiet caravan park, ample parking space, local shop a short walking distance away. Lovely local pubs with pub grub, as well as local hotels with restaurants.
Caravan was spacious, clean and everything worked!
I'm very happy to recommend this park if you want to get back to nature, and take your dog with you. I think most of their caravans are pet friendly.

The swan Hotel was perfect.
The swan Hotel was perfect. The staff very pleasant & helpful.
Room was interconnecting for myself & 3 daughters & was clean comfortable with beautiful decor.
We had a light lunch which was lovely & evening meal in the restaurant which was amazing.
We enjoyed the Spa it was very relaxing although the showers could have done with someone to sweep the floor as there was a lot of water outside the showers & it was quite slippery & one of my daughters had to sweep the water away. Apart from that the staff was very attentive & friendly.

Walks around hotel complex were fantastic.
Walks around hotel complex were fantastic. Room very basic, but adequate. Food nice, but a little too expensive for our liking. Drinks not cheap either. Breakfast options very poor. No hot food buffet available at all. You were only allowed to order one hot dish per person, from an underwhelming menu.
Hotel in the middle of nowhere, so ideally you would need a car. Bus service sufficient though.
