The cleanliness. The comfortable bed. The ease of parking. The owner, who was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent too.

The property was very old authentic and charming. Quite clean, and shower facilities great. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fabulous. My wife had gluten free Fish and Chips that she said was very good. I had a delicious burger and fries.

Lovely hotel, right in the middle of Stratford. Room was very clean and very tastefully decorated. Lady on reception was very helpful, walked us to our room and gave us some recommendations for food and drinks

Not only was The Lion a wonderful location to explore the Cotswolds (and close to Stratford-upon-Avon) it was cute, quaint and so cozy. Mark (the owner) was incredibly nice and we loved our stay at his property. I can't say enough good things! He also helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Rooms are small, but well decorated and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was delicious!

We didn't really see Newbold on Stour, it seemed a nice village but it was also just perfect to visit other places from. The main purpose of our stay was to go to a folk concert in Ettington which was very close by and it's also a short drive from Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Nothing I don’t like. This could show some big hotel chains a thing or two about quality in rooms, furnishings and politeness of staff.
The whole place is so well done. Detail paid attention to everywhere. Even down to really nice toilet paper. Bed was very comfy, pillows were high quality and lovely to sleep on. Products for shower etc were high quality as were the bed throws and scatter cushions. Food was great, service was great. Breakfast was great. Had a brilliant stay
Room was well appointed, fresh and clean, slightly small. Breakfast was in room only, not the hotel's fault, but a response to Covid restrictions. Continental style breakfast was generous, plenty of croissants, jams, yoghurts, fruit. Dinner was high quality and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and attentive.
Everything about the Fuzzy Duck was excellent. It is a long time since we have stayed in such a warm and welcoming hotel. From start to finish it was a truly fantastic experience for us. The food was also wonderful beautifully cooked and presented. We would like to thank all staff at this hotel for looking after us.
Wonderful small hotel in a beautiful location. Stayed with my husband and toddler for our wedding anniversary. All the staff were super friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the food all delicious. Would love to come back!

Lovely boutique hotel in a lovely location. Staff and food superb. The fact that we could take our dog and that they also provide bedding and towels for them was brilliant.
