Breakfast was fine A good enough choice. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. A lovely lounge to sit in after our evening meal but as the hotel caters for coach parties there sometimes wasn't so much space. Bar well stocked with whiskies and local bottles of beer. Not much draft beer (as opposed to lager). The menu was the same each night - a 'special' or two would have added to the variety. All the staff were great. Very friendly, very helpful. They are a definite bonus and would make me return.

Cabin design, quality of interior and comfort exceeded both our expectations. The location was really tranquil but also just a 10minute drive to Aviemore in case any amenities were needed. Everything one would need for a short stay was included and we had a great time, wish we could have stayed more!

Have eaten plenty of times at the Cairns and always good food and friendly helpful staff. First time I have actually stayed at the Cairns and welcoming staff, a lovely breakfast and comfy room. No doubt will be back again and being dog friendly a real bonus for my friend and I.

The Scottish Breakfast was fab!
Also the lift was very cool and old fashioned, never seen one like it.
Overall the hotel had a lot of character and the stay was great

Well worth the price , good breakfast and evening meals were excellent and great value. The staff were friendly and helpful on both evenings we stayed. My wife is vegetarian and they altered their menu to ensure ahead had exactly what she wanted. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. The only minus point is the reception and main staircase could do with a freshen up! Minor point considering the value for money stay we had. We will definitely be staying again in the near future. The location if you like all things outdoors is spot on

Nethybridge is a lovely wee village. Much quieter than Aviemore but with lots to offer for people wanting a quiet retreat. The Nethybridge hotel is great for meals , there’s a cafe , farm shop and walks from the village centre.

Yes staff were very good and helpful they went out there way to make you feel welcome it was my wifes 60 th birthday and they did bring in our cake that I supplied at our dinner and sang happy birthday it was great. Just the overall outlook of the hotel was very disappointing I was embarrassed showing friends and family how the hotel looked it's very shabby. The hotel gardens. Which was actually across from the hotel was immaculate but deceiving I thought you had to go up a long drive way to get to hotel but was actually off of the main street very disappointing for my wife she felt quite embarrassed because I went to a lot t of effort to make it perfect for her

For the price we were very pleased with Nethy Bridge hotel.
For the price we were very pleased with Nethy Bridge hotel. A 3 star hotel but we would rate it 4 star. It had everything that we wanted. Even a small lift to the 3rd floor. The staff were very nice. Breakfast excellent. Rooms very comfortable. Perfect location for us with so much to do and see.
We visited Cairngorm mountain, G2 Outdoor zip wire, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. A great stay and all activities reasonably close to Nethy Bridge.

I paid £150 for a night at Nethy Bridge which I thought would buy me a luxury stay. It did not.
Shower in the room was very poor.
We had dogs with us so had to eat in the games room - not the bar as advised prior to arrival.
Also got charged £9.50 (hidden) for a private breakfast which was just us sat in draughty lounge and having to walk through reception to self serve breakfast.
The atmosphere was of the coach trip variety.
we were there for a weekend wedding, which took over the whole building and grounds. the food is excellent, the staff went above and beyond in all things. the weather in the Scottish highlands in April is extremely variable so they set for the wedding both inside and out, making a lot of work for themselves. Maybe i had rose tinted glasses but i loved every minute of my stay.
Central location in quiet Highland village. Spotless, well appointed cottage with beautiful garden looking onto Nethy Bridge.
Ideal location for us walking Speyside Way one day to Granton on Spey and another back from Aviemore with help from local bus service.
The location was great. Local hotel was a walk across the garden for an evening meal should you not wish to cook. A well stocked farm shop was a 3 min walk away as was a cafe. Could do walks from the cottage. Place for bikes.
The house was very nice and the owners had even decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. The location was beautiful, ideal for a trip away from the city and not too far away from Aviemore. Would definitely return.
Granite cottage was lovely and cosy. Very well equipped kitchen with quality appliances .Having two living rooms was a bonus.Really handy having a general store and hotel so close by.Great communication with the owner.
I love the feel and atmosphere of this hotel truly beautiful and so picturesque in a wonderful location staff were all really friendly absolutely loved the tall man behind the bar think his name was Tom lovely man.
The location was excellent in a small village next to the visitor centre with convenient shops, cafe and Hotel/ bar/reataurant. It was beside the river with country walks accessible from th adjacen visitor centre.
All staff were great, helped with my needs and created a good hotel atmosphere when dining. Food was amazing and was nice to have a hotel make fresh food not been sitting for a long time like neighbouring hotels
The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need. We loved the log fire.
It is in a perfect location, right in the centre of Nethy Bridge with some really nice walks nearby.
Location is fabulous. Great walks close at hand. Friendly efficient staff. Good simple food. Cosy, well stocked bar. Ample parking. Great 'traditional Scottish hotel' ambiance.
Traditional Victorian Hotel - still had that look and feel.
Large, great value room - clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Bar meals acceptable.
Staff most friendly.
love this hotel and so good to see it coming back on form following the last terrible 2 years for hospitality. please support this great team of hard working staff.
