Comfortable, functional. Good swimming and sauna facilities.
Breakfast range of foods/ drinks was good especially the vegan/gluten free smoothies and fruit section. Dinner was quite pricey for what it was and also too salty though a decent meal overall.

Beautiful old Inn with tons of charm on the outside and in the garden areas. Bathroom was huge and well appointed. Delicious meals. Soft classical music playing in our room upon arrival.

Staying at the Cider Hut was a unique and wonderful experience. From the moment my booking was confirmed the communication and service was second to none. The wow factor from when you first arrive, alongside the lovely little touches and surprises make this such a refreshing, fun and relaxing stay.

The history of the hotel. The decor following recent refurbishments. The furnishings were to a very high started. We really liked the bar and the breakfast.
A nice place where we stayed overnight on our way up north.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
As the restaurant was not open and the pub closed early on a Sunday we took our drinks outside and enjoyed the evening sun by the river.

A lovely village with a superb little old fashioned butchers who supply the inn with delicious meats.A fully stocked general shop in the village is very useful too.
Lovely area by the river to watch the world and we were lucky to hear the cuckoo too!

The location & surroundings were beautiful.
The location & surroundings were beautiful. The hotel..room & evening meal were disappointing.
The room on entry smelt very musty/foisty, dusty & the bathroom needed updating..toilet seat unstable..missing shelf to put shampoo etc on..brackets were there but no shelf. Had to ask for a towel as only 2 in room for 3 adults. We stayed 2 nights..had evening meal 1st night ..most disappointing ..lasagne was hard/overcooked..Pork chop very dry. Breakfast was ok..choice of cereals was corn flakes only which were left in a large bowl.. no cover on it, had to ask for more tea/coffee/butter & toast. No one asked if everything was ok at any time.
As i mentioned the surroundings were beautiful but that is all it has going for it

Nassington is a small village with a few shops.
Nassington is a small village with a few shops. It is situated in a historic part of East Northamptonshire on the River Nene with interesting buildings and superb countryside surrounding it. Sacrewell farm park and the Nene Valley Railway are attractions within easy reach. Probably not a well-known tourist area, but there is a cluster of 4 or 5 pretty Stamford-stone built villages in the locality and most have lovely pubs to have a drink or a meal in.

quiet village on the river Neane, rooms could do with a update but for staying 2 nights it was fine you can get to most places from ther,e we had a wedding at Neane railway station , so 3 miles to get there
The rooms are separate to the main part of the inn so very quiet, if a little dated. The rooms as previous feedback state, are spacious and clean and a comfortable bed. I arrived in the dark so did not realise until the next morning the exceptional position along by the mill stream. The food is excellent, possibly the best steak I have eaten in years and breakfast very good too. It is all so much better than a chain hotel or restaurant.
There was a party going on in the hotel on arrival and I feared this may cause some disturbance since our room was located in close proximity to it. However, the party ended promptly at (10.30pm I think) and that it did so, reflected well on the management, who were obviously mindful of the needs of all their guests. All staff were very helpful and friendly.
Despite our arriving late due to traffic issues and the hotel being very busy catering for a large group, they were able to find us a table so we could have a meal - which was absolutely superb (we both had steak). The staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful.
The bedroom was very spacious.
The breakfast was excellent.
The rooms are just the right size, and come with everything one needs. The buildings are architecturally lovely, and the owners do a great job maintaining them. The owner is also the chef in the hotel restaurant, and the food is not only delicious but well presented. The staff are genial and always ready to help.
The grounds around the property had outside seating and a lake with swans. Very nice to sit outside. Staff were helpful finding us somewhere to have an evening meal as the hotel restaurant closed at 3pm unbeknown to us prior to our visit.
i have stayed here a couple of times now and i have always found the staff welcoming and the overall experience very good. the hotel is in a beautiful setting and the rooms are clean, spacious and tidy. would certainly stay again :0)
The hotel lis located in a small town(or is that a village?) in a very quiet and peaceful location. We had a room overlooking a pond with geese and goslings.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
