Overall nice hotel if one doesn't have too high expectations. The newly renovated rooms are nice and beds are comfy. The hotel bar is amazing and breakfast for 14GBP was plentyful with an option of hot breakfasts and a buffet. Cocktails were good in the evening.

The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of choice. The bar was great. Pancakes were amazing beds. Very comfy, lots of pillows. Lots of towels. The Mumbles Carlton Hotel overlooks Swansea Bay in the center of Mumbles Village. Many rooms have sea views. The hotel has been recently been refurbished, and all rooms have an private bathroom.

Swansea Stadium and Morfa shopping within walking distance. Takeaway and lively pub on the door. Perfect location to tour as close to M4 junction. We went Neath and Port Talbot in one direction. Then other side we went the Mumbles, St Elis Bay and Burry Port.

Stayed here two night as we were going to see Stereophonics. Great location with in easy walking distance. also on the bus / tax route.
Very quiet location could evening here the birds singing the dawn chorus. Would highly recommend a short stay here.
