Location was phenomenal, although a little out of the way at the South of the Island. The Ferry terminal was only three minutes away by car/motorcycle. The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view across to Mallaig. Food was excellent, and a special mention to George who was efficient and helpful, both with arrival, food and drink orders, and advanced information. Quite a few parking although most with a slight slope, there are a number of spaces on level ground if your riding a motorcycle as we were.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lochailort Inn during my trip to Scotland, and I can't recommend this place highly enough.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every corner of the room and common areas was spotless, which made my stay incredibly comfortable.
The food at Lochailort Inn was a delightful highlight of my visit. The meals served at the bar were outstanding—delicious, well-prepared, and satisfying. The breakfast, included in the price, was equally impressive. It featured very fresh and locally sourced produce, making for a wholesome and tasty start to the day.
Overall, my experience at Lochailort Inn was exceptional. The attention to detail, quality of service, and outstanding food made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Lochailort Inn to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay in Scotland.

The hotel is definitely 3 star in terms of rooms and facilities, but the staff are 5 star. Very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. We travelled with 2 dogs and the hotel was very accommodating.

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the good review ends . We got put in room 30 at the top of the building . The shower head on the shower would not stay high enough on the rail just kept sliding down 😳 The window in the room didn’t shut right so there was a draft constantly which made the room cold . Also when the wind got up there was a constant noise which kept my wife up all night . Over all hotel very tired and dirty not worth the money avoid .

The Morar hotel is located in a small picturesque village overlooking Morar bay and sands.
My wife and I had a two night stay over and enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel staff when we used the dining room and bar facilities. All of the staff members looked after us impeccably, in particular Akram and Tuan worked hard to ensure our stay was memorable.
We would certainly recommend the Morar hotel for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us.
Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us. It is also very well placed for exploring the surrounding areas. The beach was perfect, just like in the photos! The hotel was excellent, a very good menu and tasty food. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. We went to Mallaig, 3 miles away, and took a boat trip and got to see Minke whales! We also took the ferry to Skye, just 45 minutes away, and had a fantastic display by dolphins following the ferry!

Morar Hotel is a lovely refurbished hotel with great views from the restaurant and the bedroom we had. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the food was good. Excellent buffet choice at breakfast.
Mallaig was only a couple of miles away and there was a boat doing free sailings until the 31st March which we recommend. The dog also had a great holiday running around the beautiful beaches and in and out the water.
Light and airy. Beautifully clean and well provided with linen and kitchen essentials etc. Lovely couple of owners very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and peaceful situation, easy to walk to loch morar, and a short scenic car or bicycle ride to mallaig or arising . Would definitely recommend it to all our friends wanting relaxing sanctuary. Easy parking for all.
All the hotel staff were very helpful, especially the restaurant staff who were very attentive and constantly smiling.
The restaurant meals were excellent, with a very varied menu and good value.
