Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. We appreciated that staff found I had left my toothbrush and toothpaste in the room and they bothered to tie it to my car while we were exploring Shaftesbury. They did know we were leaving the car in the carpark for a little while.

We were 3 friends looking for a traditional English pub in a small village to stay at near to a few local golf courses to try. The Benett Arms in Semley did not disappoint. Great staff, location and a lovey pub with very comfortable rooms/ The food and drink was excellent with a lovely outdoor space to watch the locals (including a donkey) go by. Recommend the local fresh milkshake dispenser and farm shop. We will be back.
