Chose this location solely on the basis of internet search - and it exceeded our expectations. Lovely old coaching inn in a quiet village. We were allocated one of the newly refurbished guest rooms - which surely equalled a 5-Star hotel! Excellent evening meals in relaxed pub setting - although we could have sat in the separate restaurant with its classy decor. Staff all very friendly and helpful - including the nice lady on reception who went to the trouble of typing out her suggested itinerary for our day of exploring some of the area! Would strongly recommend.

The lady at the reception who checked us in was great - she looked after us so well and we were served at the bar with a warm welcome. Absolutely great customer service and a 5 star award. Hotel and facilities were great - but its the staff/team that makes the stay a memorable one.

On arrival, I received a warm welcome, the room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and well lit.
The room was lovely and comfortable, I had dinner in the restaurant with a friend and it was very good. Something I always enjoy is breakfast - my only sadness is that they are converting the old breakfast annexe and we now use the main hotel. However it was perfectly comfortable and the breakfast was exceptionally delicious as always.
I chose the hotel because it was closest to the Nevile Holt opera house nearby which was the reason for my visit to the area. The staff were excellent and welcoming; my room spacious and comfortable with every appointment; and dining (lunch and breakfast) and drinking (post opera nightcap) very good. Not cheap but good value for money

I travel alot on business and the quality of the hotel and accommodation is very important to me, this place just raised the level, best place to stay within the the area/Market Harborough by a country mile.

The welcome we received, the staff were excellent. Stylish and comfortable rooms . The food was exceptional. The setting and the village of Medbourne was so peaceful. All in all a great stay .
Rachel was brilliant when serving breakfast, helped out with charging my phone and giving insight into the details of the pub/Hotel and Medbourne in general
