Great communal area, perfect for families. Well stocked kitchen and lots of space, multiple bathrooms etc.
The hosts were friendly and approachable. Couple of little niggles acknowledged and addressed very quickly.

It is located in the middle in a beautiful village.
Everything was very newly done with thick carpets and fantastic quality carpentry everywhere. Food was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful
There appeared to be Mouse Man stools by the bed - I felt a bit wrong putting my cup of tea on it!

Manningtree is a small, quite charming, little town about 10 miles from Harwich so ideal if you are going to /coming of the ferry. We only stayed for one night and didn't use the kitchen but everything seemed to be there. The place was clean and warm with a comfy bed and good shower.
