The location is great if you are attending nearby functions/events at Braxsted park or alike. There was a good selection of teas and coffees in the room. The water bottles and biscuit were also a nice touch.

Maldon is a lovely place for a short stopover - the High Street is very pretty and has some interesting independent shops plus a few useful chain stores. The Promenade is great for a bracing walk and plenty of food/coffee options should you need them.

Maldon is a lovely place to visit and stay. Plenty of shops and a very varied selection of restaurants and pubs. Ginny's cocktail bar is well worth mentioning!!. Promenade park and The Hythe are also a definite to do. Trips out on the Essex sailing barges are also worth checking out too.

Fabulous busy old historic town, plenty of independent shops, pubs and eating outlets. With a modern Promenade with water park, petting zoo, pirates treasure hunt and other attractions nearby. Plenty of parking at the promenade, choice of fast food outlets and seating areas.
Town itself is on a hill leading down to waterfront, and has limited parking if you have mobility issues.

Maldon is a pleasant little town with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It has an excellent military museum and a massive recreational area called the prom with various activities that can be enjoyed by all.
I could have easily stayed here for a week! Maldon is such a cute little town with a rich history, great little shops, pubs and places to eat. Plume Apartment is centrally located with a paid car park behind the small complex. Instructions to get in were uncomplicated. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, fully self contained, and beautifully decorated. Although I didn’t get to meet the owners, they were in contact constantly. if you’re going to stay anywhere in Essex, then this is the place. exceptional!
Room was immaculate. Well thought out. Nice extras. We travelled for work and it was under Covid restrictions so breakfast was UHT milk and a packet of cornflakes so I should have booked room only. Parking is tight with restaurant guests but they are trying to prioritise staying guests. They are a extremely attentive and would definitely stay again and enjoy some Italian coffee and decent breakfast next time. Walk into Maldon, literally on the doorstep.
This house is a real gem. The photos are true to the property. The decor is faultless and there are lovely touches throughout. The owners are very friendly and are keen to make your stay special. Music is playing when you arrive and a cake is there to welcome you.
The location is central to the town, with easy access to the harbour, Promenade Park, shops and restaurants. It is close to Chelmsford and Southend, if you have a longer stay.
Super comfy and cosy apartment. Everything was lovely. Loved all of it, especially the bath, robes and slippers, and the mood lighting and TV that moves, so much nicer than a hotel! Didn't want to leave. The pictures are accurate, but much nicer in real life. My only regret is that I wish it was cheaper so we could stay longer, though worth every penny. Fully recommend.
Lovely apartment in the heart of beautiful, historic Maldon. Very clean, bright and comfortable. Lots of good restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Malden quay is also well worth a visit. Only a 25 minutes drive to West Mersea Beach.
Our hosts were very good communicators. There is parking in a long stay car park very close to the property. Highly recommend.
The room was tastefully decorated with amenities exceeding expectations. The signage / instructions in the room were clear and atypically thorough. I enjoyed the small boutique hotel feel. The warmth, eagerness and courtesy of the staff was unexpected. Not using the breakfast option will diminish your experience. The chef is outstanding.
All the staff I met were welcoming and helpful. That's a crucial element and they were excellent that way. I was happy that breakfast included black pudding, if you wanted it. Everything in my room worked well and was clean. The place is right in the centre of Maldon so a good base from which to explore the area.
Very pleasant staff, clean room, very comfortable bed and nice selection of tea and coffee was available. The Hotel was central to Maldon high Street, so everything was a short walk away. Highly recommend.
The lady on the front desk when checking in made this hotel for us - thoughtful and made us feel really welcome. She was as good as I’ve seen from many hotels around the world over the years.
An excellent stay in a superbly fitted house, with very thoughtful additional touches. We thoroughly enjoyed Maldon too - the boat trip with brunch would be our recommendation.
Great hotel and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious too but as a frequent travelling would like something a little plainer on the menu too.
We liked everything. Warm cosy, four poster room. easy to find. easy to park. easy check-in. Italian restaurant that is attached to hotel was superb food. highly recommend.
