Breakfast was very good, although it could have been a little hotter but it was ok. The room was fine but there was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom at times, this could have been exacerbated by the heavy rain we had over night. The bed was softer than we usually have but we realise that this is personal choice. The carpet was badly stained in some areas and would benefit from a good clean. We had dinner at the hotel and this was enjoyed by all 4 of us, very enjoyable.

parts of the hotel a little dated but my room had a balcony and sea view, and was comfortable, clean and spacious. The restaurant served up a 5-star breakfast buffet, and a 3-course evening meal for less than £25. High quality food and very friendly staff. Drinks were very reasonably priced.

The Annex is outside the waterside pvillage but a walk away across fields. Usual Devon narrow lanes and streets if driving
We only had a brief look round. Seems to be quaint and quiet. Well supplied with a couple of restaurant/pubs. We ate in sometimes and went into Exmouth.

Lympstone is a small village and apart from a couple of...
Lympstone is a small village and apart from a couple of parking bays in the main through road the only parking is in a car park which is £6 for 24 hours. The two pubs in the village serve excellent meals. The train service is excellent going to Exmouth one way and Exeter the other.

Very relaxing place to stay. Leave the car on the municipal car park and use the ever-so convenient train service. Good walks, good eating places, convivial pubs, and very friendly natives.
The local café serves the best coffee ever!
