With traditional rooms and a cosy bar, this hotel offers free parking and fine dining. The Kyle Hotel is situated in the Kyle of Lochalsh, the gateway to the Isle of Skye.

We were a group of 9 motorcyclists staying over before a trip round Skye. Reception, bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. Although we'd been told in advance that we wouldn't be able to eat together in the restaurant, they managed to rearrange the seating for us which we appreciated. Good service from all areas.

This hostel was much better than many hotels we stayed in ! I have used hostels before as I find them very clean and friendly and my husband a newbie was very impressed. Lovely big kitchen to cook in and many guests did, you just need wash and put away what you use. Large fridges available . Nice eating area and lounge and a beautiful view of the lock from our window and lovely area out front to sit and enjoy the view - couldn’t fault it !

We really enjoyed our two-week stay here.

We really enjoyed our two-week stay here. The location of the holiday home is simply great. The view is magnificent and different every day, depending on the weather. We were often able to observe sea seals. The house is lovingly furnished and very special. We didn't miss anything. Jane lovingly prepared the welcome breakfast. Many thanks for that. We will definitely recommend the accommodation to others. Getting the house warm was a bit of a problem for us who were here in January. The stove alone can't do it. But there were two radiators that helped to maintain an acceptable room temperature. :) As a small feedback with the request not to take this as too much criticism: a great service for a fee, of course, would be to make the coal and logs available to the guests. Conclusion nevertheless: We would like to come again - also in January!

We loved the location, the view, the beach on the doorstep...

We loved the location, the view, the beach on the doorstep and the unique style of the Bothy inside and out. We felt better heating would make a difference when the fire is not on because even at the end of May the cottage felt cold without the stove on. Also given it is dog friendly a dog poo bin close by I think is required
