When I arrived and stated I had a reservation, the response was a sarcastic ‘oh have you now’ and then they proceeded to ignore me then mock my name in some sort of private joke. Almost as if they were trying to create their own version of fawlty towers - awful

Great location, close to main roads but tucked away, with very little traffic noise. Excellent bed, lovely shower and rather good breakfast. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Whilst we didn’t visit the immediate location, it’s very handy for visiting areas around. A Bletchley Park visit was our main
reason for staying in this area (only 10 minutes away). We also visited the National Trust gardens at Stowe (30 minutes).
For those liking large pub-grub meals, the Hungry Horse at Furzton Lake is the place.
