Lossiemouth is a delightful seaside town with two beautiful white sandy beaches. Lots of room and never over run. A delight to have a peaceful walk or a dip in the ocean. The water in September we found positively balmy. There is a sports centre and swimming pool and some really nice restaurants and hotels.

Such a beautiful place.
Such a beautiful place. Highly recommend the salt cellar for a meal. The boat trip onto the moray firth dolphin spotting wow to be up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was simply mindblowing. The beach is stunning and a lovely place for a stroll watching surfers and an array of wildlife you really could lose yourself for a few hours here it is so tranquil.

It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth.
It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth. It is well placed for travelling to places of interest. RAF Lossiemouth is set away from the town, but it is exciting to see some of the Typhoons doing manoeuvres over the sea. There are a couple of good restaurants, but they are small and are not open late. It has a very good golf course, which is very popular and it holds important tournaments.

Lossiemouth has a beautiful beach, and everything you need in the town centre. There are plenty of takeaways and bars in the town. And local supermarkets. Lossiemouth is in a good location for visiting other areas.
Location was good, across the road from Moray Golf Club on the shore road. Full of golfers in the morning. Nice room except the bathroom, we had booked and got a room with a lovely front sea view. Staff were lovely and the buffet breakfast was good and dinner nice. Very quiet during the day. Limited service due to lack of staff apparently like most hotels these days. The public areas were well decorated and maintained although a little lacking in atmosphere.
Overall nice but could be better with a little work.
We loved everything about our stay at Cliffside. The house is simply stunning, the furnishings are amazing and it’s fully equipped to a very high standard. Chloe was a perfect host and was on hand if you needed anything.
We travelled as two couples going up to visit friends in Lossiemouth and all of us were blown away by our stay there. I loved being able to sit on the bench in the garden having a coffee in the morning watching the golfers and the sea, it’s located in a wonderful place.
I have stayed at this hotel on about 5 occasions. The location of the hotel is very good with fabulous views across the Moray Firth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have tea and coffee making facilities. On this occasion, I didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast is very good and suits me very much with what i like to eat on a morning. This hotel is extremely good and is well placed near the golf course in Lossiemouth.
Beach View is a lovely clean well equipped home from home apartment in a lovely location where all the locals are lovely.
Lossiemouth is very very clean and has all the amenities you can need for a few days away or even longer if you wish.
It is easy to get to Elgin which ia also lovely where you can go further afield easily via the train.
I would definitely recommend Beach View in Lossiemouth to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in that area of Scotland.
The caravan was clean. It had a wraparound terrace, which made the caravan more spacious. Perfectly situated, a wee walk from the beach and beautiful views of the lighthouse while sitting on the terrace. Only a short drive into lossiemouth and surrounding villages, a perfect place as a base to explore the area. Deposit returned on day of departure. Friendly hosts, who answered queries quickly, making a relaxed break. Nicest caravan I have stayed in.
This was by far the best value for money accommodation we had throughout our travels of Scotland. The room had a wonderful ocean view, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was room only, more like a motel but that suited us, there was complimentary tea and coffee. The view of the beach and ocean was spectacular it was the perfect location.
I would certainly recommend this property and would without a doubt return.
I was absolutely delighted with the standard of accommodation at Cliffside as it was very comfortable, really well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was an ideal base to explore the local area and direct access to the beach was fabulous. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants.
Perfect caravan for our stay. Clean and cozy. Easy pick up for keys with details sent day before. Nice park itself. Caravan easy walking distance to main restaurant area and nice view of lighthouse. Host was really good and kept me updated etc
Fabulous location about as near to the edge of the sea as you could get and with absolutely stunning views across Spey Bay. Surprisingly spacious apartment, which is extremely well equipped, and the under-cover parking area is a real bonus.
Excellent family size room with views across the golf course to the sea.
Extra personal items included in the room/ensuite to make your stay more enjoyable. These you wouldn't get in a hotel.
Excellent breakfast very well presented.
Lovely cosy caravan, right next to the beach in a very quiet area of the campsite with an incredible view of the lighthouse which is lit up in the evening. Host was great at keeping in touch and was very welcoming and friendly.
A fine place to stay after walking the Moray Coast Trail. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room downstairs was basic and met our needs. The dining room was sunny and airy and the feeling was congenial.
Dinner was amazing, I had a delicious steak and my pudding loving husband had the best pudding he has ever had!!. Room was just what we needed. Breakfast was great. Lovely staff, lovely hotel.
The property was very well looked after and in a brilliant location 2 min walk from the lighthouse and beach but also not far in the car from the like of the other beach and main Lossiemouth
