The setting is breathtaking .. The rooms are so comfortable, and Mike, the owner, goes above and beyond to make the stay memorable .
The added touches in the room from the doggy bed time story book and the items that make it a home from home experience .. It's our new go-to retreat in one of our favourite parts of Wales. . The food, especially the breakfast, was highly recommended .. although I do like my hashbrowns crispier.
We will be back.

Staff were very helpful and hospitable - but I would have preferred table service and freshly prepared food.
In the beautiful North Wales countryside, this award-winning, traditional British inn blends the warm welcome of a local pub with delicious food, excellent service and a comfortable bed.

The location was superb. The suite lacked basics such as a wardrobe but included a sink unit? The carpet had not been vacuumed. Hair and dirt could be found. The breakfast itself was lovely but had to ask for sugar, butter and tomato ketchup. Also I did not expect to have self service for tea, coffee and toast for the price. Also we had to pay the £200.00 fee even though we said that we had already paid for the visit.

If you can't book a click and collect or delivery shop then...
If you can't book a click and collect or delivery shop then call in as Llandudno Junction Tesco en route ( its no detour at all) . Its 10-15 mins to village from there. Local farm in Rowen sells eggs with honesty box next to Post Box in Rowen. Pub in Rowen is lovely and great beer plus food at weekend. Nice walks from Rowen on village website. Mostly short and circular. Walk up Tal-y-fan from Roman road is fairly easy side of moderate and rewarded by great views. walk up to Llangeynin Old Church from Rowen is wonderful, then climb nearby hill fort for amazing views.
