Llanwrtyd Hall B&B Angelis Holistic Retreat, hotel in Llangammarch Wells

Set within 38 km of Brecon Cathedral and 18 km of Llandovery Castle in Llanwrtyd Wells, Llanwrtyd Hall B&B Angelis Holistic Retreat features accommodation with seating area.

We booked two rooms and both were spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and included the most generous array of teas, coffees, hot chocolates and biscuits of any B&B or hotel I have ever stayed before. In a very quite area but just a 2 minute walk into the village where there are pubs, restaurants, cafe's and some shops. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and catered for everything we could have wanted, including a sausage for our dog. The proprietors Cheryl and Andy could not have been more friendly and helpful. We will definitely stop here again whenever we are in the area. 100% recommended in every aspect.

    Beautiful area.

Beautiful area. Good if you are a walker, plenty of them in the area. Not far from Brecon Beacons, stunning. If you are not a walker there are towns to visit in the area. Plus there is the spa. No big shopping complexes close by, if you are looking for one.

The hotel is very relaxed and the staff were excellent. Spa treatments were very relaxing and the leisure facilities were just what I needed. I walked around the lake which was very nice. The aim of the break for me was to relax and that is exactly what I did.

Lovely quiet location. Stunning scenery and grounds.

Lovely quiet location. Stunning scenery and grounds. Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Breakfast was fabulous but evening meal choices a little limited. A walk in shower was requested due to problems with arthritis but this was not forthcoming so disappointing as my elderly mother struggled with the bath. I had made a point of discussing this with the staff at the hotel before paying so a little frustrating.

There is nothing about this hotel and it's staff to dislike.

There is nothing about this hotel and it's staff to dislike. it is so peaceful there and the grounds are beautiful. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and during dinner they were attentive but not intrusive. The food is of a very high standard and beautifully presented. Plenty to eat at breakfast and a good choice of cooked food. Our suite, The Cambrian, was very spacious and comfortable with lovely views over the garden. Very nice spa quality toiletries in the bathroom. Spa facilities are excellent with a good sized swimming pool and a lovely hot tub on an open terrace. There is also a small gym, sauna and steam room.

Hotel is located in 50 acres of quietness the only noise you hear are birds and the river. The staff, service check in, and check out first class. We had a beautiful relaxing stay with afternoon tea and evening dinner the food was exceptional worth every penny. The hotel is set in magnificent grounds where there are fabulous walks. The hotel is dog friendly, even providing a separate menu for our furry friends. There is a spa, which looked good, but we didn’t have our swim wear so couldn’t try it out. The food in the evening and at breakfast were excellent.
