Idyllic 2 Bedroom Self-Contained UpsideDown Annexe, hotel in Llanbister

Situated in Llandrindod Wells and only 27 km from Elan Valley, Idyllic 2 Bedroom Self-Contained UpsideDown Annexe features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Situated in a lovely rural location with fabulous views: the only sounds were those of birdsong and bleating lambs. It’s the best equipped house we’ve ever stayed in, there was nothing you could hope for that wasn’t available and spotlessly clean. We had a most comfortable and warm stay as the weather was on the cool side. Our hosts were so welcoming and full of information on great walks and days out. We will definitely be back!

Three Wells B&B, hotel in Llanbister

Three Wells B&B is situated on the edge of the Radnor Hills, in the heart of Wales. A number of picturesque walks lead from the hotel’s door to nearby Llandrindod Wells.

Fantastic country location that was really quiet and peaceful. The entire B & B was spotlessly clean and the proprietor was extremely helpful when I had a problem with a broken kettle, on arrival.

A quiet village on the main roads from Newtown to Llandrindod Wells. There are no facilities or visitor attractions in the village but the Lion Hotel is well located for walking and trips to mid-Wales attractrions.

We planned a short walking holiday in the centre of Wales and The Lion Hotel was just right for purpose. Very clean with a rustic charm, excellent breakfasts and equally excellent pub food in the evenings. It’s aimed at the budget market so our room was compact but the electric shower was adequate and my picky wife declared the bathroom to be very hygienic. (It was a bit dated so we called it ‘retro’.) Our twin beds were comfy with a selection of pillows, and all of this plus two very friendly, helpful hosts made for a relaxed stay.

In the days of hotel chains it was so nice to find a well run, privately owned, place to stay. We had a dual aspect room with plenty of light and gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. So much so that we overslept. When had we asked what time breakfast was, we were asked, 'when do you want it?' The overall feeling was that the owners were trying to provide good, old fashioned service. We definitely want to stay again.

We booked the Hotel as a stop off point in our travels. It was in a quiet location. The host provided a warm and friendly welcome. Our room exceeded our expectations and was very clean with a comfortable bed together with en-suite shower room. After a very comfortable sleep, we had breakfast which was both delicious and filling. We would certainly place this location on our revisit list

The owners were incredibly welcoming and the food (especially the authentic curry) was brilliant. The hotel is situated in an idyllic Welsh setting on the valley floor with rolling hills, a stream, sheep and cattle all within view of the beer garden. All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough.

This is truly a unique place, it feels more like a guest house than a pub hotel and the owners are very warm and welcoming with nothing being to much trouble. The views are stunning.
