Hosts were hugely accommodating. We were on a big cycle trip and hadn't planned dinner (/forgot it would be a Sunday), so they drove is to a nearby takeaway. Absolutely above and beyond.

Booked this as it was only 3 miles from where I was to do some work. The room was spotless, plenty of tea and coffee and a bottle of water, a real mug and a real glass for the water! Plenty of toiletries. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Sadly the bar and kitchen are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but I was may aware of this at the time of booking and they supplied me with information on local restaurants and take aways. Great parking.

We stayed here a year and a half ago just as the new owners were taking over and the place has been transformed. Lovely clean room with a complementary bottle of wine which was a lovely extra. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was very tasty and really good value for money and it had a lovely atmosphere with a cosy wood burning fire. We opted for a rate with breakfast which again was fantastic with great quality ingredients and my daughter loved the hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Have stayed at this site many times and have found egress from the site can be risky. We leave the site by turning left, do a U turn at next junction on right, then join traffic with good site in wing mirror.
We eat at several different outlets. Trelawney Garden Centre near Wadebridge recommended as is Trago Mills.

It is a central location which makes it a good base to explore from. We didn't actually visit the town but drove to the Eden Project, Tintagel, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Polperro, St Austell etc. The local roads are narrow and winding, it takes ages to get anywhere, and you have to reverse a lot back to passing places on single track roads! We are vegetarian and found it easy to find really good places to eat. I recommend visiting Olive and Co at Sibleyback lake.

The clothes drying outside was not the best as the sun wasn’t on the wash line much
However there was a washer dryer (which I don’t like) should you need to get something dry
We visited Newquay, Perranporth and Looe, the latter being our favourite as it was nearest and had crab fishing as well as the beach

The hotel is 5 miles from Liskeard, which we did not visit other than to drive through! There is at least one petrol station which we did use.
However there are plenty of places of interest within a short drive. We ate at Wheal Tor and several of the local inns.

The town itself is quite a depressed area and so not particularly touristy, but it is easy travelling distance from some amazing countryside and this makes a good stopover to/from places further west.
Luxurious equipment. New owners went 'the extra mile' with welcome pack of milk, tea and coffee, Cornish cream tea - and the special hamper for our dog and especially the card, balloon, biscuits and birthday cake. Nice tranquil setting with nearby river sounds, although there is lots to do in the area if required. When redecoration has been completed, improvements having been made in the short four months of ownership, this would attract an 'excellent' rating. We would definitely consider visiting again in the future.
We both had a terrific time and we were made to feel so welcome by Susan and Ted during our stay with them.
Nothing was too much trouble whenever we asked anything.
Our room was bright, comfortable and spacious and wonderfully prepared.
Our breakfast was plentiful and delicious and presented so professionally.
We couldn't thank them more for helping to make our holiday such a memorable one.
Our stay with them was such a delight.
Liskeard is a great place to base your stay for anyone wanting to visit Cornwall.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, breathtaking view, small, but clean pods, only 7 pods on the site, open fire pits, dog friendly, great showers with good water pressure, hair dryer available, outdoor sink with hot water tap, amazing pub on the site, tasty breakfast. Sheep walks everywhere on the site. We loved it. However, it can be a problem for those who stay with dogs. Our corgi felt excited in the beginning, but ignored them later. We loved this place!

Cottage was quaint, clean and had everything you required. Attention to detail by the hosts brilliant. Literally in the middle of no where - where you can truly relax and enjoy the countryside.
Games room available with pool table & table tennis great for entertainment in the evening - distracting the kids away from devices.
Loved the Forrest area to walk the dog and enjoy fire pit one evening.
The cottage is new and clean and modern and a surprisingly great size. Lovely welcome pack with cream tea from the owners, parking on site, farm with friendly animals, small play area for our son, games room and on site convenience "shop". A fantastic place all around.
excellent service and hosts were so lovely. the setting was on a beautiful farm for lovely walking and easy to access other parts of Cornwall. the rooms were very comfortable and we had a wonderful experience.
Great location, short drive to Looe and Liskeard. The pub had a good restaurant and bar with bar games etc to keep you entertained. The car park gets full at busy periods. Welcoming hosts who showed me around.
Very welcoming ,comfortable room and a pleasant place to stay. I have no complaints about this pub/hotel and can recommend the beer'proper job' is exactly that! I would stay there again.
A beautifully presented and maintained property kept to a very high standard set in a peaceful rural location, yet very accessible to so many places in east Cornwall and west Devon.
was just perfect for our small family stay exploring Cornwall. we received a great hamper upon arrival which was lovely, really friendly and helpful owners.
