Had a warm welcome on arrival and all staff were polite.

Beautifully, recently renovated period property offering the best of boutique vacation. The food was outstanding, some of the best I’ve eaten, and the bedroom was super comfy with a huge bed and river view. The staff were attentive, friendly and relaxed. We would highly recommend this stay.

A very peaceful location with many opportunities for woodland walks, and also for river leisure activities such as swimming and paddleboarding.
The village shop is well stocked with simple basics, as well as nice treats. The Ship Inn also does a good range of beers and ciders.
Be aware that the road beside the river can get flooded at high tide
