Lovely village location. Plenty of parking. I was made to feel welcome the moment I walked in. Really friendly staff and the pub is obviously well cared for and managed. Food was really good. Room was compact, small en-suite shower, but spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything needed. Perfect for an overnight stay to break the long journey on the A1.

Easy check in and the 4 rooms we booked were all lovely and clean. The evening meals we ordered were very fresh and plentiful, struggled to finish as there was so much food. The lady who checked us in and served us breakfast was very friendly.
