Orida Maidstone, hotel in Leeds

This modern Orida hotel has spacious rooms, an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym. Maidstone town centre is within a 10-minute drive and the M20 motorway is less than 0.5 miles away.

Very easy check-in process. Reception is very spacious with lots of places to sit and relax with a coffee. Bedroom was fairly spacious. Bathroom was pretty basic and not very clean - but acceptable. Breakfast was average - unfortunately the pancake machine was broken....but all in all a great place to stay. Kids loved the pool and location beside shops was great for a potter after check out.

Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, hotel in Leeds

Neighbouring Leeds Castle, the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel is built around a Georgian country house with 26 acres of private grounds.

Staff at reception were fantastic and very helpful, a great welcome. It was great to get into the pool which was a very pleasant temperature. Even though there was a wedding going on, the noise was not a problem in the rooms. Breakfast was great. There was enough and it was tasty, especially the mushrooms and hash browns which were cooked to perfection. Checkout was simple. We had a great time and will be back if we are in the area again. Thank you

The staff at Leeds Castle were all lovely, each person we saw acknowledged us and were very welcoming. They all seemed happy to be there. The tent which we said in was fantastic and the additional services were of a high standard. They thought of everything lots of extra items included. The birds of prey show was great, the play area was fantastic with a lot of variety. Our 2 year old had a fantastic time too.

It felt as comfortable as a hotel room. The layout of the tents and outside of the tents was lovely, lots of space.
