The hotel was uncomfortably cold, and despite the spacious room, we encountered a dirty duvet upon arrival. We had to request a replacement from the owner and change it ourselves. Considering the high price we paid, we found the overall experience disappointing and would not choose to stay here again.
Situated in Kirkmichael, Strathardle Lodge has a fully stocked honesty bar, guest lounge and free WiFi as well as in-house Cake School.

Strathardle Lodge is in the nature, though really easy to find. It's quiet and relaxing. The bar area downstairs is really great and the whole vibe of the place is really homey. Hot breakfast is also delightful.

Location is outstanding- set well back from main roads in the middle of nowhere (altho town isn’t too much of a walk) and overlooking the Tay. Booked General Wades house so room was very spacious with nice living area and two bathrooms.

It's a lovely hotel with lots of history, friendly staff with spacious rooms and great facilities including lovely gardens in a central location, breakfast was excellent and the complimentary drink on arrival was an unexpected bonus, the cost is exceptionally good value for money

It was an expensive highly rated hotel, yet when I requested ice it took almost an hour to arrive. Otherwise it was clean elegant and well done. it

Kirkmichael is a quiet wee town but you have the mountains of glenshee to the east and Pitlochry to the west. And an amazing road between. Nice wee shop with cafe for everything you need. Great river walk from the village.

Kirkmichael is a hamlet situated on the River Ardle. In the village are a few lodgings, a restaurant and a small local shop.
The village is situated on the road between Blairgowrie and Pitlochry. This road takes you through beautiful countryside, but the road is very winding and mostly single track.

Ken & Moira were very friendly and gave great tips that ensured we got the best from our time there. We ate in Kirkmichael at the local hotel for our first night and again on our third as the food was so good. Although we left our small dog at home for this trip, we quickly found out that dogs were more than welcome at the B&B as well as all the restaurants we visited. Will take her with us next time.

we had a very enjoyable stay at the Lodge.
we had a very enjoyable stay at the Lodge. It was very comfy & clean. Ken & Katherine couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast & evening meals we had were good, very reasonably priced & of good portion. Set up the hills on the edge of the forest being a quiet location. Having deer on the doorstep is a bonus. Would definetly stay again

Sweet little village with interesting old church.
Sweet little village with interesting old church. Lots of walking nearby and great for cycling. Enjoyed seeing the swallows, swifts and house martins all around the village. perfect for dog walking.
The Stradhardle Lodge is located in the heart of the wonderful Perth and Kinross region. Kirkmichael is just a lovely little village surrounded by beautiful forrest and peaceful nature. The room was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed Paul and David’s amazing hospitality and their harty breakfast most of all. In hindsight we wished we booked more days in the lodge. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a place to unwind and explore the area.
This a lovely little b & b in a pretty little village. Moira and Ken are very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was delicious, particularly the avocado and poached egg on sourdough toast! The Kirkmichael hotel is about a minute's walk away and serves excellent meals and again, it's very friendly. overall, a great stay

A warm welcome to a lovely old hotel with helpful hosts. Our room was spacious and we had an excellent night's sleep. A really good location to stay if walking the Cateran Trail. An excellent choice of tasty food for breakfast too. All in all, a great place to stay for a short break.
The staff were very nice accommodating and the room was a very good size. The answer I gave for the parking was because the hotel was busy and the car park is not very big but it was taken care of.The breakfast was really good with a good selection.
Lovely hotel with lots of charm located in a small village with plenty of walks for those who enjoy exploring the outdoors. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, spacious, and warm, and we enjoyed the breakfast.
Clean and comfortable room with off street parking in a quiet country hotel. The hosts were lovely and very friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks were plentiful and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our overnight stay.
We were made very welcome to the hotel, room was spotless and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. Will be back in the summer to explore more walks etc. Recommend staying at this hotel.
Wonderful location. The hotel is under renovation but is very peaceful and relaxing. Owner and staff are very helpful. Excellent food, both supper and breakfast. Book supper in advance as it's a popular place.
Kirkmichael is a lovely small village, very peaceful and incredibly scenic. The walks around the area would satisfy all grades, from easy through moderate. It is unspoilt and a perfect haven for a holiday.
We were offered without asking a continental breakfast because of an early start one morning which was brilliant. The hotel needs a little modernization but made up for this with welcoming atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our stay, the room was quite nice. The staff were really nice, it was one of the top hotels, in our opinion that we stayed at during our 10 days in Scotland.
What a great place to stay. Paul and the team couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was superb and the attention to detail so much more than you would get from a hotel.
The owner is doing a fantastic job and is very friendly. The value is fantastic, although the hotel itself could do with revamp. If you don't mind cheap and cheerful!
