Warren House Hotel, hotel in Kingston upon Thames

A 5-minute walk from Richmond Park, Warren House is a stunning Victorian mansion complete with private gardens.

Loved the gardens and the relaxed setting. They also allowed us early check in as my son was a little ill. Beds were very comfortable, reception staff were very helpful and happy. The restaurant staff were also lovely.

The Mitre, Hampton Court, hotel in Kingston upon Thames

Set on the River Thames opposite Hampton Court Palace, the The Mitre, Hampton Court has a rich history as a place to stay, dating back as far as Charles II in 1665.

The staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming - we particularly enjoyed the glass of wine on arrival! The river location is fabulous and the food (we had Sunday lunch) was very flavoursome.

Kingston is a wonderful area in U K. It is very colorful and vibrant, with many amenities, with mixture of diferent cultures from all over the world giving the city its metropolitan touch. It is definitely a place where I would like to live myself.

We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.

The location was easy to fund. I stayed to attend a concert at twickenham stadium.. I was told by the owner that I could get a bus to twickenham from outside the hotel. The family who owned it were lovely. I would stay here again for sure

The Mitre Hotel is a small luxury boutique hotel so I expected a lot from it and I was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and professional. My room was spacious and elegant. The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. They even had gluten-free toasts to fit my dietary needs. The hotel is right by the Thames and the Hampton Court bridge. The view from the breakfast room is splendid and peaceful. A bus stop is 2 mins walking distance from the hotel, making it easy to go to Kingston or elsewhere.

We chose to book this hotel due to needing a place to stay after attending the Hampton Court Festival. Upon arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite - which was a lovely surprise! The suite was amazing…very spacious, air conditioned (which was a blessing in the heat) and had everything we could have needed for our stay! Staff upon arrival were lovely, breakfast the next morning was delicious and the location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. No complaints at all!

Breakfast was fab and very filling. All staff friendly and chatty. Room was comfortable. It is a short walk to New Malden train station to access Central and the 131 bus runs outside to get into Kingston. No it's not five star with extortionate London prices. Yes it is basic but I don't go to London to sit in a hotel and admire the wallpaper. Both myself and other half will be returning, on our next trip South. Thank you St George's Lodge.

Potential for being great hotel is there. Location is very convenient for Surbiton station and access to Kingston. Lack of hygiene in bathroom, long black hairs in the bath and toilet, I am bald so these clearly weren’t mine. WiFi didn’t work and staff were not interested in fixing it. Fluff balls and leaves in reception area. Only a cold buffet breakfast. I thought manager was a fellow guest at breakfast until he checked me out.

The staff made this stay by their helpful and friendly attitude from reception to restaurant staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The lady in charge of the restaurant was very on the ball with her supervision of the waiters and her concern that we were enjoying our experience. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds within easy reach of Kingston centre. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel, clean, nicely decorated and comfy rooms and the friendliest staff. Special mention to the lovely Bulgarian receptionist and the breakfast manager. Sorry, we didn't catch their names. Perfect location - an easy walk to Hampton Court and Kingston upon Thames town centre. Available parking on-site was a bonus.

Nice quiet place, value for Money. Clean and close to town center. Looking at the review I was afraid of booking but the price I paid and upon my visit I felt it’s value for money. At the end I paid very cheap price in comparison of other hotel in kingston town center so can’t complaint for any thing.

Good hotel but the rooms were very limited on wall sockets for charging. Hotel also is only stairs which I quite liked but I didn't have too many stairs to go up for our room. It was the hot couple of days so the rooms were hot - hotel provided fans in the room which was helpful.
