Great base for walking with dogs, Crinan canal 5 minutes away as well as plenty of stone circle sites and other historical locations. Food at Horseshoe Inn was best I have tasted in a long time and good value too. Paul was a great host taking time to ensure your stay was enjoyable and all other staff very friendly. The stables was clean and basic enough with all you need for a comfortable stay if you are doing self catering.

Great location - be even better when the local museum opens again after refurbishment. Staff very warm and friendly. Food was wholesome and great service. The hotel would benefit greatly from refurbishment/ upgrading.

Kilmartin is an amazing town steeped in early history.
Kilmartin is an amazing town steeped in early history. The museum is recommended as is a visit to the church and graveyard. Ancient gravestones are preserved and displayed.
The cafe outside the museum is highly recommended for good coffee and delicious scones.
