We liked the setting of the lodge with views of the surrounding hills. We very much appreciated the hosts, who spent time telling us about the area, their experience and recommendations, and certainly Robbie's excellent cooking, both breakfast and dinner. We had a nice hike directly from the house as well as from Killin, which was also had good places to eat.

Friendly, humorous staff. Delicious food. Fabulous location - wide open fields, roaming sheep and cattle, purple flowers all around. All you need to do is walk out the door and start wandering.

Beautiful scenery, quiet location.
Beautiful scenery, quiet location. The falls of Dochart are stunning. Well worth a visit to see them. There is also a golf course in Killin with stunning views of the surrounding area. Tucked away in the woods of Killin across from the cemetery you will find the ruins of Finlarig Castle which dates back to 11th century, also well worth a visit.

We stay here often, as its dog friendly and have always found it a nice place to stay, with friendly staff. Any problems, you only need to ask. Meals are good and fairly priced, as are the prices at the bar. Looking forward to our next stay.

It is situated in an area where it is within travelling distance to Loch Lomond. Oban, Glen Coe and Fort William al places we like to visit.
We ate dinner at The Luib Hotel on our arrival and it was excellent. We visited several other hotels and cafes and they were all good establishments. The staff at The Luid are always ready to answer any questions we had regarding places to visit. They are very helpful and the atmosphere they create in the lounge is unbeatable.

If your only issue is wi- fi then you don't have much of an issue. This Hotel caters for most clientele. The staff may I say are excellent. So many spaces to chill out both in the Hotel and surrounding area. Just a wonderful place to stay.
The hotel is dog friendly and this is both in the rooms as well as the dog being allowed in the bar area. This is not always the case with some hotels. There were dog biscuits on the table and a bowl of water at breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent (best fish and chips for ages) and the chips were homemade. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Menu is not extensive and perhaps slightly expensive but it is proper home cooked so is worth it.
The house is gorgeous - both a beautiful property and also very well furnished. Killin is an absolutely beautiful wee town, well situated for walks but also near enough to bigger towns and cities if needed. I can imagine the garden area is beautiful in the summer, but as it was we appreciated the warm fire and cosy rooms.
This hotel is v handy just off the main road from lochernhead to tyndrum. V friendly and helpful staff . Room was a good size and bed v comfy. Clean. We slept well. Breakfast was lovely . Ate in the bar/restaurant in the evening of arrival. Menu is mainly sharing cold platters but v tasty and well priced.
The lodge itself is charming, old-school hunting lodge with beautiful decor and incredible scenery. The staff was so friendly and we had a delicious dinner / breakfast there as well. It was great to enjoy a beer in this unique and tranquil setting and a meal after a long day of traveling.
The location in Killin was ideal and the property was pristine.
The 4 poster bed was very comfortable and the facilities were excellent.
Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the hosts Monica and Roman
went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Very friendly staff made you feel very welcome. They were kind enough to take a special request for breakfast. Although at this time they did not offer dinner due to staffing they gave us an excellent recommendation and arranged for transfers.
Lovely warm lodge in a stunning location. Watched deers and red squirrels outside whilst eating breakfast in the morning. It is situated in a great position for climbing those mountains ! Can walk to Killin for food and drink in 15 minutes.
We had a really great stay. The room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Monica made us feel very welcome and was very accommodating of us arriving by bike having been caught in some very bad weather! - Thank you
Loved the house very clean and comfortable, everything that wee need, and pet friendly loved the location and friendly people. Scenery fantastic lots of walks around Killin. We will go back loved it very relaxed stay.
Usually when the pub and restaurant is open, it's great and it would be worth staying at this hotel for that. But it was closed (Friday night).
Breakfast was good. Nice view from the room.
Lovely room, comfy stunning bed , delicious breakfast, attentive staff , ate in resturant in the evenings , good food , excellant choices , menu changed daily ....The Coach House was 10/10
The staff was very hospitable, the room was cozy, and the breakfast was far better than I'd expected. I'd recommend the Killin Cocktail; it's really something!
A very comfortable holiday house. Very clean and well looked after. Great locality for all sorts of outdoor activities, even for easy walks and gardens.
