Everything from the efficient and pleasant staff to the fantastic breakfast. Having the conservatory in the garden room was a real bonus. Can’t wait to return.

The breakfast was 5Star.
The host is exceptional in catering for guest comfort. The beach is less than a 25 second walk from the front door. Parking is about 40m away. Super nice stay.
I didn't have the sea view room which was a lovely view, but for rest and comfort my room was fabulous.

A grand country estate with lots of activities, great food.
A grand country estate with lots of activities, great food. We ate twice both nights, food was delicious. All the staff were polite and friendly from Breakfast to Dinner. Didn't visit the pool this time but booked up for another stay so will go.
We stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed longer. Played on the Eden course and St. Micheals. Room was lovely, bed comfortable, liked the little reading light aswell as the lamp on the side of the bed .A little bit of luxury to have bathrobes.
Breakfast timings later than expected, was great to be able to have breakfast after 10 am.

We stayed in the woodcutters cottage for 2 nights.
We stayed in the woodcutters cottage for 2 nights. It is 2 bedroomed, one at either end of the cottage, both en-suite. A large sitting room and a separate kitchen with dining table and chairs. Plastic table and chairs outside in the small garden.
Parking is at the end of a path leading to the cottage. Finding the cottage was very difficult, the directions have you looking for a road that is there but didn’t have a road name on it. Took us 20 mins to find it. The directions to it could have been a lot clearer.
We stayed here as it was my daughters wedding. Beautiful place to get married.

Had a great time ...
Thanks to all staff
I stay at Kilconquhar Castle Estate whenever I visit Fife for work and golf. It is in a perfect location close to many of the top golf courses in the world. The staff are always personable, accommodating, and helpful. The villas, although a bit dated, are perfect for golf holidays with a group of friends. We loved having the three-hole warm-up area available before hitting the links, as most Scots do not warm up before playing. The bar is a great place to unwind after a day on the links. I highly recommend the estate.
Kilconquhar never disappoints. Clean comfortable room. Delicious food both at Bistro and Lindsay Rooms. The grounds are beautiful. Best of all the wonderful staff. Warm welcome from the very helpful reception ladies. Staff in the Bistro and Lindsay Room were amazing. A great bunch of interesting young people. Gentleman who cleaned our room great. The location is ideal for discovering East Neuk. Thanks to all.
I had a fantastic stay . My only criticism was that the manger on shift was not approachable . I had thought I had booked a room that was not attached to the hotel . This actually wasn’t a problem as the room turned out lovely . However the way it was handled wasn’t appropriate and not how you should deal with a complaint . All other staff were lovely and made up for this.
Beautiful grounds to walk around and very quiet. Meals in the bistro were excellent. Our rooms were spacious with large beds and beautiful bathrooms. We stayed in the castle and it was historical and lovely. St. Andrews was a short drive away and there are many other places to visit. This was the best lodging of our 8 day stay in Scotland.
Location was really good a central point for visiting surrounding areas. Hotel amenities pool sauna etc very good to have such a choice at hand. Breakfast was great we only asked for what we could eat and that wasn't a problem. Food so good we booked dinner for both nights we were there. Staff were chatty and couldn't do enough for you.
The room was lovely- really comfortable and cosy. It was clean and tidy and the fresh dressing gowns and towels folded on the bed was a lovely touch. Our room was really close to the hotel restaurant and free parking on site was an added bonus. Breakfast was delicious and staff went above and beyond.
Room was lovely and very comfortable looked as if it had been recently decorated. Nice selection of toiletries and tea and coffee. Room was also near all amenities. Hotel had large grounds with nice gardens and had lots of amenities such as golf, tennis, pool, spa etc
Lovely hotel with plenty of facilities to use. Room was spacious and clean. Ate dinner at the restaurant both nights - no other real options close by. Not a huge range but good food all the same. Staff very friendly.
Kilconquhar Castle Estate is in a great location for exploring the area. The grounds were beautifully maintained, breakfast was very nice and the staff were nice and helpful.
Room, breakfasts & dinner were all excellent and what we expected from Kilconquhar Castle. Also location & facilities were really good with friendly staff.
perfect hotel for a group of golfers. excellent location close to all of the major golf courses (St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Kingsbarns, Elie, Dumbarnie, etc.)
The service and food was amazing. Good sized room and very clean. Will be returning soon. Have to mention Liz at breakfast who was a credit to the hotel!
