Fabulous chefs produced 7 course taster evening meal and wonderful again chef prepared breakfast, amazing flavours and absolutely coordinated and balanced tasty servings over a large number of locally sourced products. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and professional throughout our stay. We felt everything was made to happen very specially just for us, a wonderful experience and a culinary delight.

A super friendly, immaculately clean and well equipped place to stay. We stayed in the family room and used the bike storage under the place. A really lovely vibe about the place. We stayed two nights.

We spent the two days at Kentisbury Grange and only ventured out to walk around the grounds due to the bad weather. The House had the most comfortable drawing room that was warm and we were able to sit and relax.
We ate at the Grange which was just exceptional. The staff there were all friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Excellent weekend stay.
Excellent weekend stay. Our cottage suite was roomy and to a high standard was isolated and quiet 😃 the food in the restaurant was also excellent. My partner who follows a vegan diet questioned why there was no options on the menu, after consultation with the kitchen she was presented with several high quality options that she really enjoyed😀

A hotel in a beautiful location.
A hotel in a beautiful location. Surrounded by lush green grass, ancient trees, and lakes. Loved to see the young rabbits running around, ducks with their chicks. Rooms were clean with a good shower and bathroom. The king size beds were so comfortable. Couldn't fault my room. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

A nice place but felt liked it lacked character and authenticity. The shower kept jumping between hot and lukewarm. A pleasant enough stay if you don't intend to stay in the room much as the classic room is tiny (smaller than photos show).

I thought the rooms were very good whichever one you picked outside (didn't get to see the indoor ones). The restaurant was nicely designed too. The place was very central as to whether you wanted the coast or Exmoor. Although I didn't get to see a lot due to a very short stay noticed there was a lot in the area to see such as a Zoo, a Dinosaur Park with grounds plus a National Trust House a few miles down the road and fishing lake nearby.
V good breakfast. Lovely staff. The manager arranged for me to have an early entry into my room as I arrived early. I attended a party in the evening in the restaurant where the food was very good and the staff were again excellent.
My recommendations to Kentisbury Grange would be to provide mugs as well as cups in the room. The cups have very little capacity which seems a waste of a teabag😉 A few more guest umbrellas would also not go amiss, but then the weather was unusually wet for a July weekend.
Very nice, tranquil, country side location with great views (we stayed in a Kentisbury Suite, on the first floor of the main building). Ample parking and excellent landscaping which make the grounds feel a lot more private. Cars / other lodges tend to be hidden from the great views all round.
The on site restaurant is excellent and both of us loved the dishes on offer. We had breakfast every day (overnight oats and the poached eggs were the highlight) and dinner two times.
We have stayed at this hotel several times the cottage suites are particularly roomy and fantastic value for money. The restaurant is great the staff are absolutely brilliant - thank you Nick, Tom, Nichol, Amber and all the rest who made our stays so pleasurable. we can’t recommend this place highly enough. A real gem of a find set amidst wonderful Devon countryside.
The cottage hotel rooms were excellent, very comfortable, finished to a very high specification and everything you needed was provided. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Most notable throughout the stay was all of the staff we encountered, lovely people and nothing was too much trouble.
Wonderful location, beautiful building and grounds. Rooms were spacious, clean and provided all facilities you would expect at a quality hotel.
Ample parking.
Food in the Coach house restaurant was very good.
Good choice for breakfast.
Service was excellent from start to finish, dinner was great and value for money. We thought the breakfast was one of the best we have had in a hotel, can't ask for more!
