Location very remote in a beautiful little valley. Snow covered on arrival glad we had a 4x4. Pizza on arrival were excellent and wood fired perfect. Our Scottish breakfast was more than you could imagine. Freindly hosts, cleaned our room everyday thanks. Only 50 mins from glenshee for skiing with beautiful scenery for the whole drive. I would stay again

This is a fantastic hotel - the building is steeped in history.
The interior is in superb condition and it was a privilege to be able to stay there.
The central hall with open fire was ideal for sampling a late evening dram.
The room was very comfortable and the staff very welcoming.

The most amazing B&B we have ever stayed in. Hospitality was second to none, with unique, wonderful recommendations given for the area and beyond. Breakfast was included in the room price and was good and consistent each morning. Rooms were clean and we stayed in a room that had been recently upgraded. Room included a built-in sitting area that is small to work at.

I loved the peaceful surroundings, sound of the river running and just feeling calm. Had a bit of trouble finding it as it is so remote sat nav took us past the area . Inchmill was the name of the cottage in the tiny village .
