Lovely old house; great location; helpful and attentive hosts. The breakfast was good--with lots of moving parts--cereal and fruit; yogurts; breads; and the full English fry-up. The big hit here is the house, which is a beautiful half-timbered. early modern place. Our room was up some stairs and down a corridor but off by itself and quiet with a nice view of the sprawling well-tended garden.
Clearly a lot of attention has gone into anticipating what guests might need and providing it--for example, toothpicks on the table. Everything seemed meticulously organized in support of visitors.

Clean, comfortable and friendly. The breakfast bits left out was a lovely touch
The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had some special requests about breakfast and they were really accommodating. We were worried about keeping our bikes safe overnight and they were super-helpful about that as well. The hotel is in a lovely part of Suffolk. Dinner in the garden was great - there was a lovely atmosphere out there. The view from the garden and from our room was stunning. This isn't the most modern or chic hotel but it has an old-school charm and we really loved it. We'll definitely go back.
Booked this hotel the night before my mates wedding so we was already in the area the host david was a lovely gentleman and couldn't do enough for us even though he didn't have a chef on the night of our arrival which he did make us aware of way in advance of us arriving hired one for the following morning just so we had a full English breakfast before heading of to the wedding to keep us going would definitely recommend this place 😀
Had a very nice stay at the Hundon Plough. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Suffolk countryside. Breakfast was very good and the service was attentive and fast. We had a family dinner in the restaurant in the evening and this was also very good with great food and service.
