Hannah and Mo made us feel welcome immediately we stepped in the door even though they were very busy with service. Our room was tastefully furnished with small thoughtful gestures and immaculately clean. The meals we took at Cross Keys were delightful and we knew that if there were any problems in any way hat they would have been addressed immediately. Parking wasn't an issue as Culverhayes Car Park is only a few minutes walk from The Cross Keys. We will definitely return.

We had a lovely big room with bathroom. Shower over bath worked well and complementary products were good quality as were the towels. Staff friendly and food good with some nice diversity from typical pub food.
Around 15 minutes’ drive from Shaftesbury, Yew Tree View provides studio accommodations in the Dorset village of Marnhull, the inspiration for Marlott in Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles.
