What a wonderful property full of history! A very warm welcome and an idyllic stay. The self service breakfast was just right and it was nice to have proper ground coffee rather than instant like most BnBs have in their rooms. If you're after fresh air and quiet then this is the place for you!

The property was quietly located on edge of Holne with views across the valley. The host greeted us on arrival and was most helpful.
The accommodation was beautifully furnished and well equipped. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and in good order.
Would certainly recommend Walkers Retreat which is conveniently located for exploring Devon and Dartmoor in particular. Many walks could be started from the property.
