It was a really comfortable bed. Also the whole building looked a really interesting place from what we could see. Also the breakfast was really good. It would be a good place for a holiday in the summer when the weather is much warmer.

Hereford is a stunning county to visit. Amazing cathedral and city to visit, pedestrians only in city. Lots of cafes and places to eat. River Wye is stunning and Symmonds Yat worth a visit. Maybe you will see a Peregrin Falcon there. Lots to do. The local theatre The Courtyard always has something on. There is a fabulous Cinema as well.

Lots of history attached to Hereford Cathedral and lovely walks in this area. Good choice of bars and eating places in City. Very close to Welsh Border so some good places to visit nearby such as Leiminster, Ross on Wye.

So much history and wonderful, old buildings in quite a small, easily walkable area. The Black and White House and the Catholic church, were particularly interesting. The Mappa Mundi and Cathedral are obviously worth a visit.
The lack of cars in some streets was great. Far more relaxing without them.
Good choice of eateries (e.g. Ponte Vecchio, The Bookshop, All Saints cafe).
The outdoor market stalls were a delight but the indoor market needs a upgrade. Lots of potential.
There is also a nearby walk in the countryside along the river bank, via Victoria Bridge then back along the other side to the west.

Hereford is a pretty town, we went for the Cathedral and Map a Mundi. I think it would suit people who like to go for a bit of a shop and the town centre looked nice when we were walking through, little lanes, little cafes, little independent shops as well as some of the majors.
I enjoyed the Cathedral and the Black & White House Museum, the latter would also be good for children.
Close to lovely countryside and striking distance from Hay On Wye and other pretty towns to visit so a good hub place to be based.

I work in Hereford and was staying overnight because of an evening engagement with a late finish and I didn't want to drive home very late. I think Hereford is a great place to visit, especially now the electric Zipper buses have been introduced.

Wonderful city , full of history and character.
Wonderful city , full of history and character. Much more like a large market town , with many interesting and unique shops , not like most cities. Also just minutes away from the country side . The Court Yard theatre is a definite must , great food to the in-house restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff and the show was very good value for money .
Everything!
Accommodation clean with everything we needed.
We had an excellent meal in the restaurant and they had a good variety of drinks. Friendly staff and everywhere was clean. A great hotel all round.
This hotel caters for weddings and conventions and is the only hotel of its kind in Hereford. They will also accommodate for dogs and have plenty of outside space. The decor inside is beautiful so would be heartbreaking to see it all demolished just to make way for yet another supermarket!
Stayed Saturday 4th June
The staff are really friendly, good welcome to hotel.
We had a large room overlooking the front with two windows which was a nice outlook. Went to dinner at bunch of carrots which was good.
Kim dealt with a problem with the alarms very well on her own she was very professional and also made tea for all the people affected and couldn't apologize enough.
The staff need to be supported by investment it is an old building and could be really nice.
Lovely little apartment in a village hotel with a lot of character. We certainly felt very comfortable both at night when we had a good sleep and in the morning when out kids enjoyed the creatively built playground outside. The restaurant was closed as we stayed on a Monday, but Hereford is just 4 miles away, so we drove down there and had our dinner. Continental breakfast was provided in the apartment, which was great, as we could enjoy it at out own pace.
Breakfast excellent Location ok..about 15 minutes walk into centre of Hereford...not the loveliest walk but ok.I was lucky to be in a room at the rear looking onto the garden and therefore very quiet ,in the front there is a busy road. The owner was very nice ,friendly and helpful. They produced an alternative to a duvet for me..I get too warm and dislike duvets,so good for them as hotels often can’t do this or don’t want to bother.
From the first moment in the hotel, I felt welcome. It is close to a major superstore, big name fast food outlet, and a few local amenities. It is only a 15 minute walk into Hereford town center, and a good bus service outside the hotel. The hotel is situated only a 40 minute drive from Wales and the wonderful town of Hay on Wye. The bar and catering were very well mannered and friendly.
Wonderful, quiet location right opposite the Cathedral. Easy walking distance to the town centre and river bank. Very well-equipped and comfortable.
We were a small group of 3 but the house was spacious enough for a bigger one.
We enjoyed great meals at Ponte Vecchio and The Bookshop but best to book. All Saints cafe was lovely too. Black and White House was fascinating.
The hotel has a genuine and lovely dated and historic charm. Some bits have been modernised but this hasn't detracted from its original historic feel. I know this isn't to everyone's liking, but it looks and feels very authentic. The staff were very nice and attentive.
I'll definitely be staying there again.
Great location centre of Hereford. Breakfast served at the table, full English beautiful poached egg and served hot. Bed room was very big, very comfortable bed beautiful bed linens.
Receptionist was very helpful. Lovely staff. An absolutely beautiful hotel. We can’t wait to stay again
When visiting family.
Great location. Very central to Hereford town centre and the surrounding countryside. Beautiful Georgian house decorated to a high standard. The owner was very friendly and helpful with advice. The breakfast was delicious. There was free parking in the grounds of the property.
The off road parking was good and it was easy to fin Somerville House. Convenient for Hereford Town Centre. Hosts were really helpful with suggestions of where to eat. Fresh milk on arrival was a lovely gesture. Room was comfy and had everything we needed.
Nice location, on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the Hereford Cathedral.
No parking on premises, but less than 200 ft from a very reasonably priced car park.
Super clean, nice accommodations
Good facilities. Like the chalet experience very private. Excellent breakfast and lovely people at the Hotel. Convenient to Hereford City but also to get out of the City!
Good location, adjacent to Railway station, and about 15 minute walk into centre of Hereford and it's attractions. A very nice hotel, decorated with a Titanic theme.
Greated by friendly helpful staff, hotel is nice and a bit quirky in a good way. Hotel parking is free, and the centre of Hereford is only a short 2 minute walk away
