Excellent location for exploring the local area. The room was spacious, well furnished. The staff were really excellent and the breakfast good. The hotel decor was better than we had expected from past experience of it. Despite having a party on, we had been put far enough away from it for there to be no issue with noise.
Our 4-star hotel also comes with a spa wellness center where you can relax for treatments. Please note the spa facilities are NOT included in the rate and is subject to availability.

The rooms were clean and tidy , shower and toilet were efficient. The complex is spread out over a large area outside so you do not necessarily stay in the main part of the hotel so this means to use the spa you have to walk outside past the main hotel. Not a big problem if the weather is OK but a bit inconvenient if the weather is wet or cold. Spa is in a nice complex but it could do with a makeover, such things as tiles falling off the walls and the sauna could do with some attention. Be careful of the service charge at dinner, they will charge 12% and do not mention it on the menu. Hence we skipped dinner on the second night and went into Haslemere where there are some nice restaurants and pubs.

Should have bean told of the refurbishment and the closed restaurant before we turned up. Contacted the hotel separately and still only got a reply on the Monday of the stay, stating Tudor restaurant closed with full menu at Collina restaurant. For which was incorrect.
It will be lovely when finished.

The stay was so cozy and relaxing and very very clean, to be honest was way beyond our expectations. The staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome and were always there to answer any inquiries we had.
The food was so tasty and we were super surprise because I am very picky eater and very hard to please, We had the best fish and chips ever, the following morning I requested breakfast in bed which they offer in the hotel and that was so good.
To be honest the price was to low and it deserves to be more, I have stayed in 5 star hotels and paid fortune and still not satisfied.
If your passing thru the area please don’t think twice. I will definitely go back.
harper's haslemere thank you for making our stay welcoming and enjoyable.

What a cute town. Typical English feel to it.
What a cute town. Typical English feel to it. Some great restaurants and pubs, and even a cute Italian place that served pizzas with faces on them, specially for the kids. Clean, easy to navigate and worth a visit.

We were unfortunate that there was some construction work taking place, that was quite a disturbing.
The breakfast was very basic not exciting.
The property is very beautiful but there is no much information about where to go and not to go.

Nice country town- mostly boutique type shops some chains eg smiths and boots. 3 supermarkets- M&S Waitrose and tescos. Gorgeous countryside if you like walking. Near petworth park which has loads of deer. Haslemere has some markets during the year_ tad expensive though. Good pubs as well.
We were only there for one night but from our arrival we were met by the most welcoming gentlemen in the car park who was genuinely happy to see us. He was the perfect antidote to a long drive.
Booking in was efficient and pleasant. We managed to change our room for a lovely and comfortable room without fuss.
Breakfast was really good, cooked according to your liking as opposed to the usual, buffet aspect in larger hotels.
We will definitely return for another stay.
First time staying at Harpers Haslemere, and hopefully I’ll stay there again. Room was excellent, with all modern amenities, very comfortable bed, good coffee machine, nice hot shower. Really enjoyed the food, perfect steaks at night and a full and filling breakfast. The highlight for me however was the playlist in the restaurant, music that took me back to my youth, all the funk, soul and jazz tunes that were part of my life for so many years. Loved it.
I booked this hotel for a friend who was visiting, both to give them some space and as our kids were home from university, so no space at home. It was an excellent location, both near our home and giving them the option to wander in Haslemere. Our friend found the room very comfortable and had an excellent night's sleep and said the service good and coffee quite nice.
Room was very hot, appreciate it was very warm weather but this weather is becoming normal so hotels need to adapt and a fan in the room didn’t make much of a difference. Evening meal in the Tudor restaurant was excellent, breakfast was ok the bacon was dried up and inedible. Staff were very helpful.
Lovely bedrooms. The shower was amazing. The restaurant room that we held our celebration in was beautiful. Great food and staff. At night, the garden and pods look very romantic.
There is even a hotel cat.
Can't fault the hotel, staff, or restaurant.
We had a brilliant time.
We have stayed at the hotel 3 times now and the staff have always been helpful and accommodating to our requests. The room was large enough and had a lovely view over the station. That being said it was extremely quiet at night.
Great few days hiking around the South Downs; Harpers at Haslemere was a great base. It was so good we booked a second night. Both the hotel and restaurant were great!
