Hamnavoe is centrally located in Shetland about 10 mins...
Hamnavoe is centrally located in Shetland about 10 mins drive from Scallaway. It's and ideal location for exploring the North and the South of Shetland - approx 45 mins to Sumburgh, a bit longer to get to the far north. Meal beach is just a short walk, a beautiful sandy sheltered bay.
We found it a friendly village with everyone stopping to chat or wave as we drove through, we felt very at home in Hamnavoe and can't wait to return.
