Hamnavoe is centrally located in Shetland about 10 mins drive from Scallaway. It's and ideal location for exploring the North and the South of Shetland - approx 45 mins to Sumburgh, a bit longer to get to the far north. Meal beach is just a short walk, a beautiful sandy sheltered bay. We found it a friendly village with everyone stopping to chat or wave as we drove through, we felt very at home in Hamnavoe and can't wait to return.
